Thanks!
The article originally said to expect the solicitations tomorrow, but they've had to be bumped back to Monday, I'm afraid.
was hoping for more Frankie
That's awesome news, I loved their take on Frank.
Great news!
Great news!!!
Okay, trick question for you guys: For Dracula, I always loved Roy Thomas and Mike Mignola's comic book adaptation of the Coppola's movie... Now, do you happen to know if any good adaptation exist for Frankenstein in comic book form?
I have the manga by Junji Ito, which is not bad at all, but would also like to read the story in a classic "comic book" version.
I've found this one on Amazon, but I'm not sure that 144 pages is enough to call it a good adaptation:

Bernie Wrightson? It's an illustrated adaptation, but it's amazing.

Depending on how you felt about the Kenneth Branagh version Roy Thomas did a similar adaptation as he did with Dracula.
Yeah, I found out about the movie adaptation yesterday. I really like the movie, and it's my favorite adaptation (along with the 1931 and 1935 movies) even if there is major changes from the novel. I saw the comics #1-4 on eBay and they are not too expensive. I'm really considering it!
I know about the Bernie Wrightson's illustrated book, but very expensive and not really a comic book. I might try to track a copy, and the Frankenstein Alive comics too...
It is not a comic, but the illustrations are outstanding.
Absolutely! I don't own it, but saw enough illustrations of it online to know how much it is well done.
Mignola & cie should really do an adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The story is public domain and I'm sure the comic book would sell!

Looks like we're sort of getting that with the new book
...So, uh, how much is my Bernie Wrightson book worth, then?

As much as someone is willing to pay for it.
