I'm stunned. This is awesome.
Thanks! (and to the others as well) Where there's a will (and Photoshop), there's a way. ;)
Man, those cross hatching must have taken a long time.
Just filling in all those black areas with a pencil would have driven me insane.

The greatest of wills .

Van Sciver was born to draw GL. Too bad his priorities lied elsewhere.
-
Maybe a controversial opinion but I don't like EVS's art that much. His panels and layouts are great but the way he draws people and faces just doesn't gel with me.
-
I usually find there's little to no middle ground with him. People either seem to love his art or just hate it.

I like his art but I’ll admit his faces (on humans) always looked like someone stretched them out. It’s works for someone like Sinestro but I why I always found his art odd when I read him on non-GL stuff.

I think there was a drop-off with him at some point. His stuff from "Rebirth" and the earlier GL series was one thing, but some of his later work on "GL:Edge of Oblivion" and "HJ&GLC" really displayed his faults with the stretchy, wobbly anatomy.
-
If I'm not mistaken he didn't even finish Edge of Oblivion so I'd guess that the issues that he did were rushed as well.

I always chuckle whenever people have problems pronouncing things... it is such an English language-related issue.
Oa would be pronounced O (o) A (ai) in Spanish.

Kilowog: "AI" doesn't spell "Aya", it spells "A-eee".
Hal: Aya is a pretty name for a pretty girl.
Kilowog: Don't you ever stop?!
