Avoca couldn't react before the hand grabbed her face with strength she hadn't experienced in a while. It felt like her skull was about to crumble apart in her grip! A hand grasped the foreign wrist and tugged in an attempt to pry her loose.

One was a technique the leader of the rebel demon faction in his 'army', Ma Yusha. The other....well, he'd rather not deal with the other factor at the moment, but his abilities may be needed soon. Sasheem had sensed something....off.
The Majin looked to the Snake Mistress. "Hey...make sure none of these numbskulls turn tail, alright?" Sasheem asked. "Head towards Cask but don't engage just yet. Sasheem ain't gonna take long..." His forces went ahead to scout out Cask. Between Pytha, the Snake Mistress, the demon, and his girl, the army should be kept in line. "Wait!" Sasheem pointed to one particular member of his forces. "Not you...you stay put for now and follow me..."
Now as far as that 'off' feeling goes, it was a very familiar source of ki. A malevolent source. Sasheem used the [B]Spider's Blessing[/B] to conceal his ki to sneak around what appeared to be a long-dead enemy...

The woman, who’s ears are bleeding slightly, looks at her and slowly licks her lips and fangs clean even as the blood from her ears stops running. Apparently, she heals fast too.
“I must say, your blood and power are……hmm, sweet and earthy. Like sugar and autumn dirt. Lovely.”
She walks over and casually grabs Avoca’s unmoving keg, slowly dragging her away.
“Come along, come along. My saliva will keep you paralyzed long enough so that we can…finish our tryst. But not here, too open.”

It was bad.
It was really bad.
Avoca couldn't move. She couldn't power up. She could barely muster enough energy to groan impotently. But while it looked bad, it wasn't hopeless. Avoca may not have been a savior of the universe like Sarada and Parsley, but she wasn't helpless. She had a few tricks up her sleeve that she didn't need to stand up for. And it just so happened that the dumb vampire bitch grabbed her leg, which was exactly what she needed.
That leg began to excrete a grayish mist. As close as the vampire was, there was no way she could have avoided it. Her [B]Ki Negation[/B] worked to weaken a person's power. If nothing else, it would at least even the playing field a little.

"Officers often forget....this base was not built but found...don't they?" he asked of Durive, the base creaking with each assault of the enemy. Rusted walls and eerie cobwebs both were swept aside, the two intent on reaching their goal, even amidst the various attacks.
One could only hope that the base and it's few defenders could hold out.
Outside of the station, a lone figure stood atop one of five ships approaching the base, observing the conflict from afar. "I quit and look at the predicament they find themselves in," the figure spoke, the voice belonging to the former lieutenant turned private detective. "Contingency plans, certainly aren't what they used to be..." He leaped off the ship, fist raised in the direction of one of the criminal ships to punch through it while the five ships around him provided cover fire.

The woman tightens her grip and Avoca can feel her right ankle bones crack and shatter. The woman looks down and holds her other hand out.
“Neat trick, unfortunately, my Ki is special. Here, try mine.”
A small ball of Hakai suddenly appears in her free hand and hovers into the grey mist, annihilating it before it goes to hover right over Avoca’s face.
“Try that again, and I’ll let my little friend stop onto your pretty face and watch as you fade into nothingness.”
She turns back around and pulls on your shattered ankle, dragging you deeper into the palace.

A good two dozen of the marauding forces turn and open fire at the five ships, even as one gets torn apart by his bare hands.

The Orbital Ring surrounding the Earth mobilized, and across the two equatorial elevators mechanized troops and armoured divisions spilled out in squadrons that spearhead the air support from every latitude. From this distance high above, Kenshiko grimaced, brushing a fringe of dark auburn out of her eyes. The map that lit above the consoles live from the Capsule Sattelite Feeds traced a grid around the world below, and it was like a morbid game of chess.
On the ground she'd pulled off ops as a unit Sergeant, but as the Commander, a great part of her held regret that she could not join them at this very moment.
"Planetary Shields holding! We have lockdown!" Came the engineering report, and the Tiger grimaced.
"The Saiyan tech really does give as good as it takes," she said, the transparent veil covering the length of the Ring and its two elevators, large swathes flaring green upon impact as it absorbed the force and recharged itself. "That will be the last thing any of them see before we send them straight back to hell. Nobody gets in, nothing gets out!"

The tricks of the magicians were formidable, and as the town emptied with the increase in combat, Rose and the Cask Militia had begun to fall back as Morgan and Erosa held the line.
With the emergence of Tulpa Demons proving to be an escalation, with enough of the civilian population out of the way so did the ki-enhanced fighters begin to move their mechanized forces in a tight maneuver.

Strafing the Khanate at range, Variable Fighters cut through the still winter air, screaming like hellbound eagles as they let loose with their payload. When they'd emerged, they'd crossed a line, and the fighter squadron's message resounded clearly in the winter tundra: No further.

Closer to the ground, the Armoured Division took aim at the emergent magical creatures and their magician hosts, aiding the charge of Morgan's ghostly familiar knights with the efforts of their modern-day counterparts to break their lines and thin their ranks as they and Erosa made haste for the Coven Magicians responsible for all this.

Strangely, despite the city being where the sirens blared loudest, the fighting was the thickest at the outskirts. Capital City itself seemed to be as bustling as ever, though the sidewalk and vehicle traffic shuffled orderly towards the shelter entrances. Yet there were a number of small-time entrepeneurs, street-side hustlers that refused to budge.
They hadn't had this much engagement drifting their way in a while.
"Hey you! Buddy! You want a hot dog?"

It dawned on Avoca who she was dealing with. "...She Who Stalks?" she said, voice shaky from exhaustion. If not her directly, then one of her minions.

Long ago, the Khanate had faced men and women and others with swords and spears, arrows and magic, fists and fire. They had lost, but it had been close. Today, the remnant of the Khanate was stronger, quicker, more powerful.
So too we’re those that call Earth home.
From on high and down low, modern technology, bolstered and beefed up by the best Terran, Nevadian, Earthling, Saiyan, and a few bits here and from the GP and others, slammed into the Khanate like the wrath of gods. While the herd was decimated and driven back, the Tulpa’s moved forward and flung molten shadow and freezing light towards the defenders, all the while the coven mages stayed hidden from Erosa.

Kenshiko gets the alert of the massive tare in space, if the thing that was bigger than the moon and heading towards Earth. Miras Thane, the local GP officer aboard the Coldlight, radioes in.
“You seeing that thing!?”
