Who will it be and will we get it this lifetime?
Now I'm not talking about DC Universe or Injustice where you get everybody, I mean just one lead character/group and his/her supporting cast. That's it.
So here are the likely candidates

Any prediction or guesses?
Probably Superman or Wonder Woman. Sadly I don't think DC/WB/NetherRealm are willing to try anything creative or interesting.
Still, maybe they'll prove me wrong. Personally I'd love an Aquaman or Swamp Thing game.
Rumors are that WB Montreal is soft rebooting Batman and their next game will kick off a “DC Gaming Universe”. Apparently WBM’s second game besides Batman is Superman, while Rocksteady is making a Suicide Squad game.
Would like it to be a Superman or Wonder Woman one but knowing WB/DC/NetherRealm probably a Harley Quinn/Suicide Squad game.

I think Rocksteady is making a "young hero" game in the vein of the Titans/Young Justice, at least going by the last rumors I heard.

I’ve heard Suicide Squad pretty consistently, and that tracks with the jobs ads they put out, looking for artists to design weapons like guns. A GAAS needs loot after all and SS offers more options since they can kill.

I was tempted to say Aquaman because of the undersea universe but it's rare that I enjoy swimming mechanics in games
Flying mechanics is even worse so I don't want the flyer heroes unless they can actually cook up something good.
I guess I have to settle for Green Arrow or Suicide Squad... but I haven't been interested in those characters

This is what I heard too. I believe that it was supposed to be set in the Arkham universe and let players use characters like Deathstroke and Harley Quinn.
