This is why being in the movies is important.

Lol my exact thoughts.
Good for Dom
okay so
mark wasn't lying about the other ongoing being surprising
this is quite out there. interesting.
EDIT: just seen the cover, whilst there's not a lot to talk about (no full creative team or even a really clear statement of what the book will be) that title looks great !The bouncing bullet thing is quirky and very cool
Cool!
Has Domino been seen recently in the books?

She's a cast member in Weapon X
She's a cast member in Weapon X
And getting busy with Warpath. lol
So yeah, she's definitely around.
That's her very first solo, I believe. I applaud it. However there is little given about what it will be about and if there will be a supporting cast. Hope Greg Land only will do the cover, if he becomes the artist it will be bad for sales as very few like his art.
I mean... I can’t see this lasting more than a mini.
Happy for Domino....not so thrilled about the writer. Gail Simone at times reminds me of undiagnosed cancer to an organization.
But I more then likely will still keep my eyes on it simply because it's Domino. Beggars and choosers as they say.
Really want to know the artist though. Come on, CB, let's move the needle on some of these books.
Interesting choice for a solo book. Hope it is well written and develops the character as God knows we need more focus on other mutants.

Really not sure what makes you say that. Sure her Batgirl run was hot garbage but even then that was a situation where she was forced to make the best of an awful situation. In contrast, her BoP run was fantastic, her Secret Six run is one of the best comics ever made, All-New Atom, her brief Legion run and (what I've read of) her Wonder Woman run are pretty good and while I haven't read them, I've heard a lot of good things about Crosswind, Clean Room and The Movement. I haven't read any of her Marvel stuff, but there isn't exactly much of it.
She's one of my favorite writers in the industry and the main reason I may actually give the first issue of this a shot.

TBH, the initial artist isn't going to matter because they'll just be changed out after the first arc, anyway.
Makes sense since Deadpool 2 is on the horizon. I hope this is the first and last of Land's contribution to this book. I couldn't get past issue 1 of Weapon X cause of him.

To be fair, the art on the cover isn't his worst work.

You can conclude this with so little info? Wow.
It's nice to see Dom get her own solo, presumably as part of the Deadpool 2 push, for however long it lasts.
Domino feels like the kind of character Gail Simone would excel with, so I'm looking forward to seeing what she does here. It's also interesting to see her writing for Marvel again.
I'll definitely give this a go.

You didn't miss much. lol
Honestly, Land seems even more hated than Liefeld. Too bad Marvel hasn't learned to cut him yet. Because he doesn't seem too win a new series any points.
Many say they didn't Weapon X due to him. And I don't think drawing Bunncanny helped it. Though I thought he was better than Lashley.
Gail Simone writing Domino? That sounds, intriguing. But please PLEASE don't let Greg Land be the full-time artist, pretty please!!
Gail writing Domino intrigues me. Land on art not so much...but the porn paces would make me lol
color me interested
Interesting. I like Domino but most of all I love Gail Simone's writing and hope this gig leads to more X-Men work from her.
This is why being in the movies is important.
It's a shame it has to be like that, ain't it?
Also the faces looking like every other character that he draws, don't forget about that.

I know. I still like the cover, though...
I know. I still like the cover, though...
The cover's nice true enough. It's just that Land cannot go for too long without falling back into his, usual "style."
You can conclude this with so little info? Wow.
If Rogue & Gambit can’t go more than a mini. I don’t know how Domino will. I’m going to pull the book. I hope it lasts longer.
Also if Nightcrawler, Storm, and Iceman cant go for more than 12. I don’t see how Domino does.
Also the faces looking like every other character that he draws, don't forget about that.
Seems like a few artists at Marvel have this problem. Ken Lashley is the same. Where I looked at different male characters and get them confused on who they were. lol
Then Cinar, who's drawing Weapon X. I think he does a great Creed. But looking at his art, it's not a completely original look. Looks like another character he draw at one point.
I was catching up on older comics. And during the Uncanny run in the 90s, drawn by Joe Madureira, I remember how all his women looked exactly the same. Just different colors. lol
I think Land's biggest issue is the unnecessary porn-faces. Now THAT'S something he's gotta stop.

I can't wait. I think for too long domino has been written like black widow used to be (basically sexy sexy fun fun) and I'm looking forward to her getting some complexity
This is going to be a intresting title.
It seems like thell be a replacment for each book canncled via marvels purge.

Has nothing to do with her work. I did enjoy some of her Secret Six runs as well. Its mostly how I have seen her act on social media, interviews and so on with other creators/professionals/ect. in the industry.
In saying that. If she is at Marvel again I hope she stirs clear of any of my favorite characters though.
The cover's nice true enough. It's just that Land cannot go for too long without falling back into his, usual "style."
Yep. It'll look like Weapon X.
Domino solo with a decent named writer attached to it... who ever would have guessed. I wonder how Marvel will attempt bring in her Deadpool film look to the series or as a new character. Just when I think I'm slowing wrapping up at Marvel they throw in another 1-12 issue solo series.
Also, are Domino and Warpath really banging? I'm not reading Weapon X.
As far as I know so far we've seen a little flirting and a kiss, beyond that though who knows yet...

Greg Hack is setting something up between them.

It just hit me Agent X could reappear in this. That would be nice.
It's a shame it has to be like that, ain't it?
Its a damn shame because movie goers still have no interest in buying comicbooks. Why won't these companies see that?
I like the title logo with the bullets bouncing.
Gail Simon is probably my favorite writer, so I am really looking forward to this. Plus, I have been slowly catching up with the recent Weapon X series on MU and Domino is great in that.
To those that know the character well, may one ask, what are some good Domino books? As this is going to be a must-have for me, I feel I should get to know the character better.
Nice. Didn't Domino have a one-shot or mini series back in the late 90s? Or am I thinking of something else?
