I remember Dark Horse doing a comic that was definitely not canon that has Tarkin on the Death Star order Boba Fett to capture Han Solo but Vader doesn't agree so goes after Boba and they fight in the Catania with Han having to escape and Boba event fights Vader with a lightsaber he nicked off a Jedi. So glorious OTT just presumably to have a Vader vs Boba fight in the comics (though I recall some Boba Fett mini series where he's trying to capture a person's living head and Vader fights him there too).
That was Star Wars Tales #11, those were just sort of crazy fan service "what-if" kind of stories Dark Horse was putting out around the early prequel years.

The RotJ novelization referred to Owen as Obi-Wan's brother, and in Attack of the Clones, it is established that Owen Lars is Anakin's stepbrother. (It also states that Luke's mother took Leia to Alderaan, instead of dying after giving birth.)
Those "Tales of Jabba's Palace/ Mos Eisley Cantina" novels have several short stories that no longer quite worked after the Special Edition films removed and added characters from the scenes. (Max Rebo's band gaining like 9 more members, the removal of the Wolfman, etc.)

The Wolfman story was a weird one. Basically it stated that he fell in love with the Lampreyish bar patron he was in a scene with, and that they became part of the Rebellion and fought at Hoth and Endor.

Had anything in the Jedi Prince series ever get referenced after the conclusion of that series?

Think it was mostly ignored by the writers and reference books. Kind of funny some of it's ideas kind of wound up in the Sequel trilogy...

And those pretty much retconned everything in the books, so you can't read them at face value.
