I'm actually looking forward to this book. I like the basic premise that not every mutant belongs in paradise/Krakoa. That there are some mutants who for whatever reason don't make it to mutant island and the fallen Angels are looking out for them. Hopefully a few more members are added to the team and also this is a bloody, violent book. X-force seems like it may be tamed so hoping this will have the wall to wall action.

It's going to need more than boring Kwannon and WiFi to pull me in.

I find that trio extremely boring, even liking x23 a lot.
I definitely can see that title being cancelled soon after the debut

I dont. It'll likely be like X-Force; existing to tell a specific story which will end once that story is complete. There are too many X-titles to support indefinite ongoing status as we saw in the 90s. I suspect many are there to expand the world that Hickman has created but have finite endings which they will hit

Same. After seeing that gorgeous Molina drawing of silver daddy Cable, the twink version offends even more now!

6 pages in and while I know I'd have changed a lot about the entire wave, but if this was supposed to be a Kwannon/Madripoor/Asian adventure, I'd have had paired Kwannon/Psylocke with Wolverine and Jubilee. CAN YOU IMAGINE? ACTS OF REVANCHE!
X-Men Purple can be Captain Betsy, Blue friends Rogue and Gambit, Rictor, En Sabah Nur, and X-23. Laura can bond with Betsy as her squire.

I find this comment rather amusing considering there's people out there who think having Laura interact with the New X-Men again is pointless because of how long it's been since she has...and then they turn around and want to see Laura aping Psylocke in Claremont's Uncanny expanded on even though it's been LONGER and FAR less consequential (especially considering the Uncanny issues have been virtually retconned out of her history).
I'm not saying YOU'RE one of those people, but there are definitely some who do.

I always wanted Lauara and Betsy in a book together. But I guess this is good enough. I just don't get why Kwannon would want to wear Betsy's old uniform.

I'm a sucker for Alan Davis drawn issues. That's why it stands out to me. There are levels to the suggestion, promoting Betsy as a combat mentor, Laura as a viable big league rookie, Braddock Academy, on and on and on.

It's Hand spandex, Betsy wore it FAR too long.

I will admit while I'm excited about Fallen Angels outside of Kwannon the cast is boring. Throw in Dazzler, Northstar, and Spiral to make it interesting
-
It's a little boring but I don't expect the lineups on these books to be static so I assume others will be joining.
-
Not a fan of the cast.. I dont care for teen cable.. He should be dead for a while and come back during the 3 wave..Psylocke 2.0 and X-23 would work with Dakken, Frenzy, Polaris,Elixir and Exodus.. This is a team I could get behind.

I was literally just thinking threnody would have been an awesome addition.

Never thought of that but she'd make an awesome addition. Needs more men though. Maybe Empath?

Kid Cable messes things up. Archangel should have been here instead
