I wish I knew. How do they ever expect to recoup the costs at this point?
James Cameron's New Mutants

Exactly. It’s like they’re digging themseleves into a deeper hole.
Just put the on Hulu and recoup what you can on the strength of Maise's popularity.
Yeah, you would think they would want to cash in on the Arya Stark hype while it’s still high.
LOL. They need to put this out of its misery and never let it see the light of day.
You have a cast member from Game of Throne & Strange Things in it-you don't throw that away.
Throw that film on Hulu.

No joke. Fox's THE NEW MUTANTS has been pushed back again--now set to drop April 3, 2020, instead of Aug. 2, 2019. .
Movie delayed again
I'm not like Super Petty but
I would be surprised if the ticket sales is good. There's nothing much in this movie that is interesting for New Mutants fans.

I would be surprised if they even have tickets to sale

So annoying.

The movie is a hot mess there is no other reason to delay other than they are going to fix a movie they think is a mess. If the movie was ready to release they would have just put it out and they had chance to cancel out right and they decided to push it back. Only good sign I see is they have time to basically redo the whole movie it is not like this movie budget was huge.
I kinda feel like they're just pushing and pushing and pushing until it goes to a point where no one will be still looking forward to it so they can cancel it.
I wish I knew. How do they ever expect to recoup the costs at this point?
What costs? Fox paid for the movie. Disney haven't spent a cent on it.

I am pretty sure you take on that stuff once you take over a company, but it is not like the money spent on New Mutants matters to Disney,I hear they made a movie that made a 2 Billion dollars. But seriously Disney is losing near 3 Billion because it is new streaming services and taking back rights and other things. Disney can eat cost of new mutants with very little issues. Money isn't going to affect their decision with New mutants. Dumbo or Nutcracker flopping probably lost more money than it took to make new mutants

I doubt the lack of interest from New Mutants fans is what is worrying them - I thought Guardians of the Galaxy trashed a bunch of characters I liked, but the movie was good fun for the general public so it was a big hit; all the New Mutants fans there are could boycott this film and it wouldn't matter provided it was a fun ride, it would still be a hit. The fact that they are pushing it back and back means the thing is flat-out bad.
