Russ is the best.
It's amazing having a great artist that is into the X-Women around.

Yeah, he was more important than writer and editor to make it happen
-
Storm getting one is a nice surprise.
-
replacing oliver with perez for a magneto solo story sure is a choice
I love when Hickman does interviews. He always has thorough answers. IMO.
I was hoping the last Giant-Size would be Captain Britain Betsy Braddock. Just to elevate her a little more.
But Storm actully makes way more sense. And she is one of the leaders of the X-Men so I'm glad she got one.
In regards to spoilers do we think Cassandra Nova is the villain? Or maybe Shadow King.
Also is it going to be a silent issue or did I read that incorrectly.
Russell Dauterman if you read this. Please put Betsy Braddock in the Storm issue. They are BFFs ish.
Just editing becuase of what poster beneath me stated. I also found it interesting that Hickman said we haven't seen much of the Quiet Council. So hopefully they get a mini/one-shot/or series.
I'd definitely read that.
Also when does that FCBD issue come out? Will we be able to get it on comixology?
I agree with everything you said.... Dauterman drawing Betsy is my dream. I always write this on his Insta with the hopes it gets somewhere. Would have loved a telepath issue with Betsy, Jean and Emma.
-
Unlike Jean or Emma Elizabeth is not high profile enough to star in more then one book. At least Excalibur sales are decent enough to hope itll go beyond #12.
-
Too bad she used to be. I remember back in Regenesis, she was appearing regularly in Gillen's Uncanny X-men, X-men and Uncanny X-Force
-
That was because she was the favourite female character of the editor in chief.
-
you guys act like she didnt have a mini pratically dedicated to her new change, was an important part of uncanny, was leading her own title in age of x-man and then again in excalibur, wich is obvious as day to be background for arakko saga to come, whatever captain brittain shenanigans hickman loves
-
Ok but none of those were simultaneous which was my point.
That was because she was the favourite female character of the editor in chief.
Good point. She got big pushes sporadically but none of those led to her status in the franchise booming.
-
yeah sure but like, fantomex has one, it isnt really a reason.
and who know, perhaps we will get a volume 2 with 5 more issues

True about Fantochexmix. Mr. Hickman did indeed say the artists chose the characters.

That Storm cover. Yesssss. Do i see Banshee in the previews? I hope we get to see him.

Its good to see Storm getting one of these!
Sean!!!
But... It looks like Banshee will be in the Magneto one and not Nightcrawlers. Oh well, but there's Doug. I like Doug and I don't think him and Kurt have had much interaction since his Excalibur days as Douglocke. Again, Hickman isn't for me. His dialogue is stiff a lot of the time and he can take a point several pages. I miss the jam packed comics of old. I'm getting this for Davis otherwise I don't think I'd be picking it up.
