TV Series? How do we make it happen?

Reading through the wonder that is all the "From the pages of Hellboy" for the 2nd time and relishing it all. Reading in historical order is a great pleasure. I can't stop thinking what an adventure an HBO or Netflix series would be. My fantasy is it could go back and forth or splinter series, etc. But the movies just don't do the whole Mignolaverse. Fans have done the petition thing in the past but was thinking an interesting project would be for fans to start dabbling with the script for some episodes? Could be fun for the writer types and of course a possible in for the script writer wannabe's. Some may want the script of an episode to their self -- others may want or end up wanting collaboration. Endless discussions on who owns what are useless. If it is out in the open then add your name as the primary for the purposes of unpaind recognition only...Most of all - some fun. Fan fiction has triumphed before. Could become a pool of text that we might see mined for bits and pieces in 5/10/20 years...

You could team up with a group of other fans and do a fanfilm.

Or you could write a "spec script" and a "tv bible" in order to pitch it to a tv executive. Granted getting a meeting with a tv executive is hard to do in the first place.

For reference, "spec script" stands for speculative script. Its used as a sample to get screenwriting work. It could be an existing property or a new story.

A "tv bible" is a document used to explain the shows setup .

Get together with a group of creatives/passionate fans on message boards and other forms of social media, find a way to keep in contact. Bounce ideas around and put the content on Youtube. Make a twitter/instagram account for said series and use lots of hashtags to spread the content around to other people who might not know it exists. After that is done get people to post about it. After that it's only luck.
