That's a good point. Peter wants help; he just can't get it.
Captain Stacy is a good help though.
What are we qualifying as "help" for Peter? I believe we were talking about finances before and the only adult who helped a teenage Spider-Man/Peter financially was J. Jonah Jameson...and he had to work for that.
Are we talking about help in super heroics?
Your thoughts?
Edit:Sorry for the typo in the title.
Andrew’s Peter was all wrong. It felt like a live action version of how Peter was during Brand New Day. An earnest attempt, but something was just off. And just like Brand New Day itself, this was a “Reboot” that no one asked for and wasn’t needed at all.

Finances? We were talking about help with Spider-Man.

Spider-Man was good, but still has misses. His Peter was more on the miss side than the hit side of things.
I'm one of the few who are fans of the two movies he played in.

Why do you like those movies?

I can’t help but love the Amazing Spider-Man saga. Favorite movies and favorite actors. Now I just hope the rumors are true and that Garfield is coming back for SM3.
He deserves to shine one more time.

Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man has my favourite SM moment (saving the kid on the bridge) and is definitely my favourite cast Spider-Man. The main thing that makes Tom's version the best atm is the execution of the character.

Didn't he say he wasn't?

Just like Momoa said he wasn’t playing Aquaman during BvS production.
Now if he never sees him again in the suit, I won’t complain: for those of us who loved his portrayal and the Webb movies, I think we’re lucky enough to have a story with a strong beginning and a wonderful ending.

I just thought it was a fun movie back in the day. It had some good performances. To me, Dr. Connors was the first antivillian in the superhero movie genre. Althought the film would've been better off with a different villian like Shocker. He's a more grounded character and the Spectacular Spiderman cartoon just made him a member of the Enforcers.
The Parents stuff and the Lizard would've been better off in Sam Raimi's Spiderman 4 than here. Or maybe the Lizard could've been better off in the sequel.

Ok. For me his whole turn the world into lizards thing was so weak and lame. It veered into B-movie territory. And Electro was even worse

Same here on the Lizard. The first movie felt like Peter was becoming the villian so maybe it didn't need one. Granted I think it might've been better if they skipped the origin and just have Peter be in his 20s.
