I'm not even sure what Wonder Woman's character even is anymore. Does she like to party? Is she a vampire? Maybe some author someday will explore these themes.
That's because DC doesn't know. And writers only get so long to try and make their mark before they're pulled. I mean, it could be worse, she could be Superman whom they don't care about so much that they've moved effort toward a shitty new character. But they don't know her and haven't cared much to know in a long time, just so long as a book is consistently published.
I wish this run the best but you just never know when the rug will be pulled out, regardless of quality.

Reminds me of Jorge Jimenez

Definitely has a similar vibe, I like it.

A very poor man's Jorge Jimenez. It's by no means bad, I like it but Jimenez is on a whole different level
That is actually a nice style for Diana.

Yeah, I kind of dig it.
Same.
Mkel’s artwork is nice and all, but it’s not what drew me to the book’s new direction, the writing is, so I’m okay w. the admittedly abrupt change.

Considering Carlo Barberi has been using that style for his entire career, I would hardly call it a poor man's version. Barberi has been around for over twenty years.

yeah but Jimenez is a few cuts above Barberi, he’s an A-lister and I’m reasonably sure his page rate is much higher

I thought Being Super got better with each issue so I'm gonna try this. I have not read Wonder Woman since new 52 so I hope she gets us up to speed on what's going on in the first issue. Like why isn't Etta fat? Is WW and Steve an item? stuff like that.

While we're on the subject of the art, that art he released of Diana and Nubia recently makes me wish that DC could somehow get Olivier Coipel on art duties for this book.

WONDER WOMAN #769
The trail of Maxwell Lord’s would-be killer has brought Wonder Woman face to face with her newest, deadliest foe! Liar Liar is back and ready for round two against the woman she blames for her damaged relationship with her father. But Diana has learned a thing or two since their last encounter, and this time our hero is headed straight into the heart of Liar Liar’s sick delusions. It’s the final chapter of the “Saga of Lords,” and you won’t want to miss it!
The cover and solicit for this seems pretty final. Does anyone know if this is the end of the run?

I don't hate this run but it's doing nothing for me and the fact that Tamaki is using either new(Liar Liar) or non-exclusive Wonder Woman villains(i.e. Max Lord, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke) is a real let down so I'm cool if issue #769 is the end of her run.

Would lineup with the rumors of a relaunch in January.

#770 would make a good start for a run. Tamaki isn't "bad" she's just uninteresting.
My worry is that there's been no report for it like Superman, but I guess she's less of a big deal than Bendis.

Can swap out that statement with Wonder Woman being less of a big deal than Superman, and it would also serve as a reason for why it's probably not reported if there is a relaunch. :p
I agree it isn't bad just largely uninteresting to me, like the filler arc in between when Rucka's run ended and when Robinson's started. Though I guess in comparison to Robinson and Wilson's run, I guess I'll take uninteresting.
But...but ..orlando was doing so well...
My thoughts exactly, oh, well... :(
Edit - And I agree with many of the other users here (likely a majority judging by this thread). Tamaki is a mediocre writer at best and her stab at She-Huk was atrocious. I hope she surprises me but I doubt she will.
