Suprised no one is talking about the very excellent series, Vanish by Donny Cates. 3 issues released so far as we follow a villainous magic infused villian as he sucks everyones magic dry.
As far as more independent books go this is one I'm very excited to have on my pull list.
Fantastic art as well.

The talk is only at the Marvel and DC threads. There are so many great Image and independent series out there, but they rarely get mentioned.
Regarding Vanish, I will wait for the trade.
I read the first issue and honestly... it's great.
Stegman's art feels very much like Spawn. It's honestly so fun to look at.
It's the best thing Cates has done since Venom, and honestly there's a lot of promise here.
so, issue 8 is out today and wraps up the first story / arc. What did everyone think of this issue and series overall. I thought the whole series was great. It was my second favorite title out next to Moon Knight. No mention of future issues / story, but definitely left open for more.
