In two days, a rally is being held in Columbia, SC in protest of the removal of historical monuments. It's the name of one of the people speaking at the rally that has them both concerned. They both agree that they need to be at that rally because it most definitely could become violent! Elsewhere in a NYC high rise apartment, a lone figure sips a drink as he stares out at the night skyline. America, land of the free, home of the brave he thinks to himself. Tony tries to explain to her that he was lost when his learned that his parents died that night, that he needed time to deal with their deaths. Sunset tells him that she was their for him, that his parents were holding him back and that he was better off with his parents out of the way. That's why she had them killed! Well there’s been some upheaval in the multiverse (as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced). Batman Inc. is on the case, and they’re gonna need their multiversal franchisee - moi, the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool - to help! But I don’t know all this just yet. All I know is that I’ve been confronted by some schmuck named Bruce Wayne, Agent of SHIELD (check SECRET AVENGERS #30-33 for how this amalgamated “Batspy” got here), and he’s VERY interested in my time in the New Dawn Universe... with intent to use “enhanced interrogation techniques” to find out how I got there! Meanwhile, Maximus has barricaded himself in his 2nd floor bedroom with his ten best bodyguards. As the door opens, they open fire quickly mowing down the poor soul coming in. When the smoke clears, they realize it was one of the other guards. Sudden Bullseye and Frank come in from Windows on either side killing the remaining guards with ease, leaving Maximus at the mercy of two of the most deadly killers in the world. As they both begin to argue about who gets to kill the last kill, Maximus tries to escape. He gets as far as the door before two bullets redecorate the walls with his brains. At that moment Crockett and Tubbs enter and tells Bullseye and Frank to drop their weapons. Franks turns to them and says that they can either try to arrest two of the most dangerous men alive or get credit for bringing down Miami's most notorious drug lord.

Frank smile and whispers. "Next time Lester, next time."

BANSHEE can barely maintain his noise cancelling sonic scream, the only thing keeping DAZZLER's uncontrollably mutated sonic transduction from infecting mutants with horrible genetic diseases. Even if EMPLATE can shift Dazzler to his parallel dimension, the impromptu blockade on all travel to or from Tokyo by X-Corps' mutant volunteers which is angering world powers can't be lifted since more mutants may already be infected by speciest DOMINION's pathogen that turns their powers into disease generators targeting the X-gene.
•The HUMAN RIGHT offers the United Nations what seem to be the answer: PURITY, a virus that edits the X-gene out of DNA, permanently turning mutants into regular humans.
