Again, I personally wouldn't mind it because I do think it would be a descent to good match IF they allow Hawkins to actually work. But I understand the criticism. There's a perception that Seth would be devalued by showing he has difficulty with a curtain jerker.
In sports terms, Alabama football only beat San Diego City College by one point in the last minute, most would say what a poor job that Alabama did.
You can have a really great Janella match with just ten minutes.
AEW reminds me a lot of Image Comics in its infancy. Great artistic talent but without editorial hand to help them avoid excess.
Royal, if you still lurking what do you think of this news?
https://411mania.com/wrestling/wwe-reportedly-tried-to-buy-pro-wrestling-noah-for-nxt-japan/
WWE tried to buy Noah to turn it into NXT Japan.

Not Royal but ... Meiko Satomura and Daisuke Sekimoto were rumored as negotiating to become trainers for WWE around the time KENTA was coming in to NXT. So, I bet that was the timeframe they begun talks with NOAH and they probably got heated up around the time KENTA had his match with Naomichi Marufuji (crowd was lit for KENTA).
I hope it never happens because the Global Honored Crown is a neat system for titles. I'd hate to see it go.
Apparently they've now started talks with another Japanese promotion

Maybe they'll go after All Japan. They are in a better place than Noah at current and everything about it now is super basic.

My guess would be Dradition (owned by Fujinami) or W-1 (Mutoh) since they have WWE connections.

All Japan has money. NOAH did not and they said no. DDT hates WWE, often mocking it. NJPW is the big gun. Dragon Gate is safe, too.
Inoki's fed just went under ... maybe they capture that one? But that one is going to China now ...
It's probably one of the smaller feds with a WWE connection.

That could be an issue of having actual wrestlers doing the booking. Maybe if they want every match to get 4-5 stars from Dave, they'll tend to go longer with anyone. If Omega wants to go out there and showoff what he can do for half an hour, his buddies probably won't tell him no.

If I had to guess, id say Active Advance Pro Wrestling which sent some talent to WWE before on excursions before

I hope they abandon this. The WWE has very little ability to book non English speaking talent.
Have a few NXT special with a Japanese promotion and move on.

Think you guys are overreacting a bit.

For those who don't know, this is Kaientai Dojo after their rebranding and cutting ties with Taka Michinoku over his scandal

AEW Dark = Was a good show, but good lord, Jelly Janela has no place going 30 mins with Kenny. The Dark Order still need some development sooner than later, but the tag was fun.
NWA Power = I really enjoy the set and vibe so far, just needs better wrestlers. Is pretty funny how within 2 episodes, NWA's women's division looks alot more competent than AEW's.

NXT and NXT UK seem to be working out alright. So I think it's worth a shot.

I don't think WWE can succeed in Japan. The way Japanese wrestling culture works doesn't gel with how WWE does things. Promotional jumps are a rare thing in Japan. I don't expect that fanbase to be receptive when WWE takes their ace to put them on main NXT or god forbid the main roster. The dojo system is it's own beast. Where will talent go for excursions?
WWE trying to make Japan work will be a hot mess. I can't see any Japanese promotion wanting to be a cog in a machine.

NXT UK has been slowing killing the UK indie scene. ICW is in WWE pocket, they brought WXW, world of sport, Defiant and Southside Wrestling are defunct. It has not had a positive effect.

I can't comment on the event it's had on the industry over there ... all I can say is that they are putting out a pretty solid product.

roman, drew and the good bros did a interview about why fans are so negative on the product. their answers.............not good.
