Wow is all I can say and this is why we are in the miss we are in with covid.
Fox News Has Lara Logan and Will Cain on Fox News Primetime. Logan has said that The information on Covid and what we are being told is largely false, people are comparing Facci to Dr. Josef Mengele the nazi doctor, Covid isnt really a big deal because it is easy to treat and cheap to treat etc...
Meanwhile Cain has called out Facci for engaging in fear porn and how big Pharma and such have a good thing good and they want to keep it rolling.
This is the shit that pisses me off with how many people buy into all of this.
I saw something on MSNBC earlier today (I was working, so I had the volume off), but the chyron said that a Republican Senator went on Fox and lambasted the vaccine, then went on CNN and praised the vaccine.

I saw that. Can't remember her name, but boy was she two faced. It really didn't make much sense.

Not a senator... it's freshman Congresswoman Nancy Mace, of South Carolina.

Mace, not Grace. :)

Ah hell. I was thinking of a different twit that has no place in American discourse.
I was going to say it's absurd to imagine Trump pardoning Maxwell, but he did pardon Arpaio, D'Souza, Kerik, Roger Stone and Mike Flynn, so it's plausible.
It's entirely possible Omicron started elsewhere. South Africa has an infrastructure for tracking and tracing illnesses from the AIDS crisis. A potential problem is that nations may be penalized for doing the right thing. We have to balance protecting our residents with making sure that other countries are comfortable revealing important information about new varants.
Biden is already at an unheard of age for presidents.
It is interesting how there's been a shift from "of course he won't run for another term; he's too old" to "The incumbent President is the clear frontrunner for his party's nomination."
Part of it is the narrowness of his win, and the relatively high disapproval rating of alternative frontrunner Kamala Harris. Democrats may be in a position of choosing someone who isn't up for the job because he has a slightly better chance of winning.
2024 is a long way away and so much will change on the political landscape by then but I’m not confident one bit about either Biden or Harris’ chances. Republicans relentlessly attacked Biden for being senile in 2020 and they’ll go to the extreme in 2024. Frankly there may be some validity to the attack as I personally wouldn’t want an 82 year old man running the country.
Harris has fallen flat in her first year as VP. Unless she has a massive turnaround in the next two years I think the Dems should consider someone else. There are rumors that Buttigiege has become quite popular with many in the Biden White House. Unfortunately a gay man as a candidate would lose a lot of black and Latino voters who may vote Democrat but are still very socially conservative.
I think all Trump needs to do is get a conservative female VP which would help win back the suburbs and he’d have a relatively easy victory.
If Trump does run again and has a big lead in the polls maybe Michelle Obama will jump in the race for the good of the country.
I’ve been listening to a podcast about Epstein, and the shit he and Maxwell had done was scummy and heinous on steroids.
I posted about this case at the time Trump was running for President. There was a woman, who has never been named but was given the name of Jane Doe on her deposition, that had hired lawyer Lisa Bloom to represent her. The last update I found on it is from 2019 from Newsweek. You may recall that the Enquirer was involved at one point. At this time AMI was the publisher of the Enquirer and the CEO David Pecker is very pro-Trump so they would bury these stories when they came up concerning Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal. After those two women made their statements about Trump, a third woman surfaced. it was announced in a news conference by lawyer Lisa Bloom had another accuser as a client who claimed that Trump had raped her when she was 13 at Epstein's NYC residence. Her deposition was taken and you can still read it online here Michael Cohen was also involved in trying to bury this case so I'd be curious to know if he has provided any statements to the authorities about this. After Lisa Bloom held a news conference about this victim "Jane Doe", her law firm's e-mails and website were hacked and Bloom received death threats. Her client became frightened and wanted to drop the case.
But that deposition is still out there and Trump nor any of his legal representation has done anything about it. This allegedly occurred in 1994 and she was 13 years old at the time. On page 7, there is a disturbing account how both Trump and Epstein in separate "encounters" threatened the life of the girl and at one point "Defendant Trump stated that Plaintiff shouldn't ever say anything if she didn't want to disappear like Maria, a 12 year old female that was forced to be involved with the third incident with the Plaintiff with Donald Trump and had not been seen since that third incident and that he was capable of having her whole family killed."

Opinionator or Journalist? the line gets fuzzy more and more.
CHRIS CUOMO UNDER FIRE FOR HELPING HIS BROTHER — CNN star CHRIS CUOMO is coming under a wave of criticism after New York A.G. TISH JAMES released records depicting just how hands-on he was in helping shape his older brother’s response to the sexual harassment controversy that ended his governorship. Explosive testimony and text messages detail how Cuomo used his journalism network to pump sources for information about stories reporters were working on regarding allegations against ANDREW CUOMO.
The CNN brand has to keep its rep up with the metoo crowd so will the ax swing for the brother using CNN resources to cover for Andrew?

All this talk about 2024. I must point out that in 2005, Barrack Obama had just been elected to the Senate and was unknown to most. Hillary had not announced and Rudy Guiliani was the GOP front runner.

Not to poop on your point, but I sleepwalked (sleptwalked?) through the '04 convention and the inevitable feeling of doom as Bush's reelection approached and when I saw Obama's keynote I thought two things. 1. "Wow. Who the hell is that? And can we get him on the ticket?" And 2. "They really shouldn't have put that guy on before Kerry, because Kerry can't compete with that." Perhaps the largest gap in charisma and energy I've ever seen between two speakers at any event. "I'm...John...Kerry......and I'm....reporting..for..duty." (salute).

True, but we don't know if Biden will run, and we don't know what Harris will look like in 3 years. There is an eternity of politics before 24.

Biden has said on numerous occasions that he will definitely run for re-election in 2024. The only thing that could prevent him from running is if he becomes too ill to run.
