Okay, so Deadpool travels back to time and makes it so that Peter gets bitten by a radioactive platypus instead of a spider. how does this change Peter's status as a crime fighter? wait but a Platypus doesn't have teeth, this one does it's radioactive, and because of silver age comic logic.
Dr. Octopus: *robbing a bank when he turns around and sees a man dressed in platypus themed tighs* A platypus-man?

So basically he ditches the spider-sense, and gains electro-omniscience which allows him to read people, gadgets, and the entire modern world in real-time. He also gets venom, resistance to temperature extremes(we just had a utterly fucked winter and these things didn't give a **** abut it) and enhanced agility in water(which also amps his electrolocation) He might lose out in strength and speed(CBPH max IMHO) but he won't be completely helpless. If he decides to use guns and operate at night near water, ne might actually be quite dangerous.

More like The Amazing Hibernation Man! Most of their extreme survivability comes at the cost of, like, actually being able to do anything but go into a coma to wait out the harsh conditions. He'd probably be like Stone Boy from the Substitute heroes, able to become like a statue that can't be broken, but also can't move while in his invulnerable state. That could be useful/funny if he makes sure to join a team that can use him as a battering ram.
Actually, they might be able to function under extreme heat, still, but I can't be bothered to look at the wiki article again. So maybe he'd be pretty heat proof.
