Mutant hating Reaver, conceited asf Joshua Foley really turned himself around.
So Hellion's getting his hands back, right?
Never really got the chance to.
I mean have they even been anywhere near one another since Julian lost his hands?
Its always been something like Josh hiding in a church, being a Utopian, or being dead again...and Julian being M-Pox'd and held by the Inhumans
Do they need to be? Hellion lost his hands years ago. If he really wanted Josh to fix them, then he would have sought him out

We can only hope.

Would you want something like that to happen off panel? The part about them talking to one another at least?
And who's to say Julian knew anything about Josh's status or had any way to seek him out?

If Hellion shows up with hands, then Im fine with it happening off panel
Where there's a will, there's a way and if he really wanted Josh's help, he'd have done everything possible to get to him. Julian's been with the X-men for years. There's enough telepaths with access to Cerebro to get him in contact with Josh. Josh was in NY to help stabilize the Mothervine mutants when the Gold team was dealing with that incident so they were in close proximity to each other. Its lazy and shows a lack of determination on Julian's part to just accept that he had no way to seek Josh out.

Naw. It shows lack of skill and thought on the part of X-writers and Editors.

In light of the Krakoan resurrection project, was Mercury ahead of the game when she left what looks like a sample of her liquid metal in the school's time capsule back during WatX?

That makes me wonder if the process for her would be a bit different to be resurrected. Santo is psonicic energy so would they even need a dna sample for him?

Does anyone even remember that Santo is a psionic energy being
Or do I need to remind you of the Globbening, when "Vic" choked on Glob's fat waxy fist

I don't think Santo can actually die.

Pretty sure it would be different for post-biological mutants like Mercury and Rockslide, seeing as they no longer have any DNA to clone a body from. If Santo can't reform wherever his body was destroyed due to a lack of material, I'd assume they'd just have to retrieve his mind and release it around some adequate rocks. Likewise, Cessily appears to retain a psychic connection to any liquid metal identical to hers, even if it's no longer part of her current form (such as her ability to sense the proximity of Predator X and absorb their liquid metal coating after defeating them), so as long as they have an intact sample around for her mind to inhabit, they probably wouldn't need anything but Cerebro to recover her.

That was handwaved as being an AU scenario. Because the writers didn't want to own up to the fact he either failed to research the character properly, or just plain ignored the power set to force his plot.
