What would be your idea for the cast? Obviously Madrox and Guido feel necessary, and I want Longshot somewhere. Of course, the team needs newcomers, and I like the idea of putting Ricochet (the best Slinger and a mutant) to good use. I'm interested in your suggestions.
As long as it's not a damn rehash of something we've seen before.

I like a lot of your picks, I would keep Madrox, Siryn, Monet, and Prodigy, but add Morph, Hindsight, and Trinary.
Longshot might work in Fallen Angels.

You're not in Sinister's DNA bank tho.
Can't really think of a cast I'd go for (beyond my usual faves), but I do like the idea of a new X-Factor essentially being the Krakoan peace keepers. Mutants are trying to build a new culture made up of people with many different cultural backgrounds. There are going to be some Paulie Provenzanos (and worse) mixed in there. An X-Factor that's partly mediators and partly police force could be interesting. I guess Nightcrawler would potentially be a good fit for that.
What about something featuring Sinister with his new involved role?
Sinister, Forge, and their overseeing of the genetic and psychic data.
Havok and Polaris might be involved to keep Sinister on the up and up given their histories with him?
Sage and Cipher make sense. Think you can build out the team from there. Madrox has experience with genetics, working on Muir, too.
I guess some overlap with X-Force concept, but could bring in plenty of other characters without a home... Siryn, Monet, some new X-Men kids, Prodigy makes sense.

I love the really grounded X-stories, but I also love when a story is off-the-wall bonkers, so I could go for just about any plot. X-Factor Investigations was an excellent run, especially at the beginning when it had an honest purpose, so I wouldn't mind a return to or revamp of that with Krakoa as the setting. Roster...

I think it would be interesting to have them investigate missing mutants or mutant phenomena around the globe that could also turn into paranormal or fissures opening from other dimensions. A mix of xfi and x-files.. throw in a Torchwood vibe and it could be interesting. With Madrox (not the whiny Rosenberg one) and a small team. They could visit the Krakoan Embassies around the globe and maybe team up with different mutants working in that embassy to investigate occurrences. Have short arcs with a main arc running through the series that won’t be a loose end!
