We'll probably have the old Reverse-Flash back by the time he shows up on the TV show.
i actually am one of those noobies lol this is honestly my first time really reading comic books i didnt have much time befoore i got here to korea. and as a new new reader id like to know why captain cold hates him, whats the deal with weather wizard, and whats up with that heatwave guy? barry says he looks so different. really i just wanna know the backstory to it all. any suggestions as to where a brand new reader like myself should start.
There is no specific reason. I don't think you understand who the Flash is. The rogues hate Flash because they are bad guys and he's the good guy. The Rogues aren't like Batman villains. They actually love having the Flash around. Think of them more like pirates. They just steal money and don't kill people.
This is what makes the Flash kind of a neat little character.
Also, they've already explained why the rogues look the way they do now.

I think he will end-up being called simply Zoom to allow Daniel West to keep existing as The Reverse-Flash.
My advice is don't worry yourself about how specific characters met. It doesn't matter. Like every Marvel and DC character, over the next 5-10 years of real time every thing you read today will be retconned or discarded a half-dozen times anyway. Just know that Flash is the good guy and his enemies are bad guys. Usually. They don't like each other and they fight about it. Except for sometimes when they don't.

That is very possible. There doesn't seem to be much room for Zolomon in the DCU right now.
As of THE FLASH #1, Barry is 5 years into his career.
I've never been much of a THE FLASH reader until now, and I loved the book until Manapaul left.

Manapaul's run was average imo but the art was fantastic.

Johns' New 52 Barry is pretty good actually.

I have to agree. It was pre-Flashpoint Barry that he struggled with.

Haha... I was welcoming him as a Flash fan. I've been a fan for the last decade.
