Considering Norman is already the Joker if being Lex Luthor was his day job . . .
Right lol.
That was a very good way to describe Norman you came up with.
...Somehow Mourlin returned. *Ossar Issac face*
Well, last time he showed up was in Sinister War where he got defeated by an exploding centipede, not surprising he came back.
But hey, good joke anyways lol.

From Slott's twitter:
-He's currently on a deadline
-He's not taking over from Wells, who remains on ASM 'killing it' with John Romita Jr.
-'Spider-Man' is definitely an ongoing monthly title and it's first storyline is "End of the Spider-Verse"

Well, he's not wrong whatever your opinion of the run because that fits both ways :p.

Oh, for god's sake. I knew the reaction here was gonna be poor but some of this ridiculous.

So 'End of Spider-Verse' is the first arc of the new monthly title. That may lead to some confusion, given the initial promotions.

seems pretty consistent whenever you see the words slott and spider-man together

Yeah, but, speaking as someone who's done with Slott's Spider-Man, I'm even more sick of the backlash against him. The guy's just a writer who doesn't appear to everyone and is sometimes rude online. He's not the devil incarnate or anything.

Kaine will make a deal with Mephisto to delete the whole thing :p.
I mean he's the only Spider-Man in 616 who hasn't done one yet, it's about time, and do something really fucked up while he's at it :p.

"End of Spider-Verse" is the first arc? Then what will be the next one?
-
Kaine will make a deal with Mephisto to delete the whole thing :p.
Well, it wouldn't be the first time Kaine's made a demonic pact. He made one in MC2 to save Ben's kid:p

Maybe a rebirth of it, really doubt something like the Spider-Verse is ending for real anyways.

I wasn't aware of that, damn, and here I thought Kaine was the smart Spider-Parker.
Let's hope at least 616 Kaine keeps that title :p.

If it helps at all, Zarathos tried to break that pact by possessing Ben's kid, and the spirit of Daredevil, whom Kaine was trying to resurrect, forced Zarathos to back off, thus leaving Ben's kid with demonic superpowers and appearance on top of his preexisting spider-powers, though he was able to learn to assume a more human form that looked like a redheaded version of his dad (and Uncle Peter, by extension). So it turned out better in the long run.

Still shouldn't be making pacts with devils, so hope he didn't make a habit out of that.
And hey, so that's how Darkdevil got his powers, thanks for the info, I remember seeing him in a random comic and wondering why a Daredevil successor has those random powers lol.
