What do we think? Hairline seems off, but maybe Dauterman changed his mind, considering the drawings are years apart.
I'd love a Duggan X-Force book with Emma, Rogue, Gambit, Cable, Deadpool, and Quicksilver + others (Frenzy?).
A book with all of those would probably just be called X-men for sales.

Still thinks it is not Gambit. Eye looks completely female for me. Also no subtle. Not Gambit.

wonder how much will be revealed, guessing creative team and premise of Dawn of X
Dawn of X is a branding like ResurrXion and Decimation, not the name of a book. But yeah, we can expect the names of any books launching this side of Christmas, with creative teams, cover art and maybe even interior art.

Maestroneto thinks it's Exodus.

Whoever it is has great eyebrows.
I think Duggan writing a better Rogue than Thompson is the consensus.
I don't trust Rogue with a male writer. She and Kitty both have the 'I had a crush on them when I was 15 so I'll pair them with the character who is the closest stand-in for me' factor, with the added 'the guy I like will be immune to her powers'. Duggan did get her dialogue, big-heart and impulsiveness-meets-leadership down, though. Rogue was actually witty and clever without being 'omg she's an omega genius'.
I read those issues as Duggan having the horn for Rogue and it's coming through in the writing. The same for Morrison's Emma Frost. I'm sick of reading that shite.
Mr and Mrs X's plotting and dialogue weren't fantastic and it doesn't help that most of the Mr and Mrs X art was middling, but she had the best and most empowering solution to Rogue's power control. Rogue got control through self-knowledge and if she stops looking after herself that control will slip.

We got his Emma. So mystery on who this character may be and if he's doing an X-book or just cover work.
Well looks like it was She-Hulk all along from the Avengers #23 Marvel 80th Frame Variant by Russell Dauterman that will be released this august:

I would replace that with characterization if only because, as much as I liked Duggan's Rogue, he seemed to forget about her accent half the time.
