What day/s do you have?
They say the first step in combatting an addiction is to first admit that you have one. Well, here's my addiction:
SPORTS!
You see, it's like this, I have six streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Britbox, plus Crunchyroll and Funimation just for anime) that can provide me with more than enough non-traditional cable programming to keep me entertained for years, and that's not counting a ridiculous backlog of Blu-Rays of recently released films and movies I upgraded from DVD. And yet, when offered an opportunity to delve into all that streaming or theatrical goodness last night, what did I watch? A meaningless baseball game that didn't even involve my hometown team. All that mattered is that it was baseball (my all-time favorite sport), so I happily sat down to watch. Sad. Yes, my addiction to watching sports is quite real and it's got a serious hold on me, I'm sure I'm in need of an intervention, but I'm not sure I'm ready for one yet. I'll be sure to let you know when I'm ready.
:p

LOL.

Bit of randomness but I've just read that they've discovered 12 new moons orbiting around Jupiter taking the number to 79. Talk about being greedy LOL.
Anyhow, just thought I'd share that. Didn't think it was worth creating a new thread over so I just posted it here. :)
Well folks I wanted to stay silent about this to not ruin my chances again. But a month ago I detailed that the guy who was leaving above me changed his mind a couple days before he was due to leave. Well 2 weeks ago he gave yet another notice he was leaving and I was told again , your gonna get the job and all. I was like , is this one for real and I waited ...and waited til it was for sure.
I start his schedule next week , a new guy does my old schedule and I now will be working that extra day. So yep....folks I am excited.

I heard about that this morning. I found it fascinating! SCIENCE!!
Congrats :)
Thanks , I gotta go in check in on new guy for like an hour tonight and see what he's about as the saying goes. Got a couple more days off before I head back to work.
Congrats, Super. You've earned it.
Now don't mess it up! =P

Yeah I like hearing about new stuff when it comes to space myself. No scientist by any means ;) but I try to follow it.
I'm off to the London con this weekend. If the weather carries on, I will not be excited!
In other news, decided to stop reading X-Men today and watch Netflix instead. It is such a slog getting through Claremonts X-Men. Some issues are good, then they drop off in quality with too much dialogue and exposition or retreading on what happened

You can always go back to Claremont's X-Men when you're ready (or want to). In the meantime, just put Netflix on and chill (since apparently that'll get you laid with Laurel Van Ness according to Impact LOL)
As for London con, hope you enjoy :)
Just a thought: I’ve always heard it’s unwise to take steroids for how deleterious they can be to health, yet EVERYONE who obviously takes them seems perfectly healthy not to mention being super shredded, super jacked, and super strong. So who wrong? Is there some truth lost somewhere?

Steroids can do damage to your kidneys as far as long term use goes. I don't use them unless needed if I have gout. But as doctors will tell me , they are good for short term use to relieve swelling etc. Long term use will cause kidney issues . One possible person to look at is Superstar Billy Graham an ex-pro wrestler who at one time looked like this...

His exposure to steroids over a decade with his wife injecting him at times led him unable to have children and multiple surgeries for knees , back and hip problems as well.

Hogan's use of steroids as well has led him to hip and knee surgeries as well as his back surgeries that ended his career finally in ring. (He had 2-3 spine surgeries in a 2-3 year period).
