OMG! Completely agree. Glad Captain Kronos – Vampire Hunter can be considered a cult-classic (XD)

Donnie Darko, for sure.
Also Dark Star, one of John Carpenter's first outings as director.
I'm also happy to see Phantom of the Paradise get mentioned. It's such an underrated Brain DePalma movie.
It most certainly is. I heard it was released at the time Rocky Horror Picture Show was released and quite frankly, I prefer Phantom. Very unique and different.
Some more cult and guilty pleasures I love:
Targets
The Sorcerers
Black Hole
Billy The Kid Vs Dracula
New York Ripper
Plan 9 From Outer Space
The Black Sleep

Another Cult Classic I remember is Battle Beyond the Stars. I just watched a retrospective on it today, and it punches well above what it should be (another forgettable Corman flick) partly because of 2 very big names (although not at the time) who were involved with the movie.
James Cameron was one of the cinematographers (and also handled much of the special effects after the previous guy quit) and James Horner handled the score.
The Warriors.

I absolutely love The Warriors. It's like the perfect 70s intersection of Walter Hill hard-boiled crime stories, John Carpenter kitsch, and Clockwork Orange, in a time where every film had to take place in an NYC urban nightmare.
I'll just go with guilty pleasure: Howard The Duck from the 1980s. I heard it was considered crap but I enjoyed it anyway. I was 12/13 when it came out on video and watched it. I can't remember the last time I saw it though. Don't know but I think it gained a cult following. There are probably others but that's what first came to mind.
Samurai Cop
Troll 2
The Miami Connection
Catwoman
St. Elmo's Fire
Wicker Man (2006)
Superman III
Superman IV The Quest For Peace
Godzilla (1998)
Biodome
Batman Forever
Maniac cop but no Psycho Cop?
I rented Psycho Cop thinking it was Maniac Cop as a kid, biggest mistake of my life.
