Pre-52 Barbra Gordon is my favorite, Stephanie Brown is a very close second.

I always liked Bette as Flamebird more than Bat-girl.
Barbara Gordon is my favorite Batgirl.
Cass Cain. I think she's the most interesting character of the three, and she also has the most potential to stand on her own outside the usual [i]Bat[/i]-trappings.
Babs. Specifically pre-Crisis, DCAU and [I]Young Justice[/I] Batgirl.
As far as I'm concerned, there is only one Batgirl and that's Cassandra Cain.
Stephanie Brown most definitely.
The current Barbara Gordon is pretty cool but for me there has never been a Batgirl as charming, distinctive and relatable as Steph.
Barbara is the icon for me.
