The New Mutants really do have a Krakoa(the nation) loyalty problem.
Not that they ever betray the country.
But it seems pretty obviously their hierarchy of importance is
New Mutants >> Young Mutants >>>>>>> Krakoa

I'm guessing [SPOIL]Warlock is 'on' Cypher [/SPOIL] because otherwise Krakoa would ban him for not being from Earth, let alone a 'mutant.'

You're also forgetting, you know, Moira.
Sort of agree but it should have been called Giant Size New Mutants instead.
Cypher was central to the book, without him there would be no conclusion.
Cypher, Magik, Warlock are more central to this issue than Nightcrawler. Eye-boy didn't do much and was a bit redundant.
not really as it wasnt a NM story. Warlock was more of a twist towards the end. Cypher adn Magik alone arent enough to call this a NM book

why would he banned? Brook was just on Krakoa. Non-mutants can come on the island

Technarchy and Moira
Technarchy and Moira
The island is already infested with technarch and Cypher has been part technark since the first issue

yeah, but they don't know that.
The crucible chapter is proof that the authority of the island does not know Warlock is actually around.
Moira X when she finds out that Doug Ramsey of all people could ruin her long gestating plan

????
He literally walks around with a technarch arm.

This chapter and the crucible clearly suggest people just think it's a cyborg arm.

OK, I guess Im confused about what the issue is with them knowing that technarch is already on Krakoa
I love that Doug is so bad at keeping secrets that he’s already been found out twice. I would love a reveal that he’s been secretly working with Moira to prepare Krakoa for the Phalanx’s return.
It could have been a normal techo organic inffection since warlock was deemed dead

if Moira and Doug are the big-bads trying to assimilate mutantkind to Phalanx to ensure they won't ever be wiped out.....I will scream . and it'll be a good scream
the surprise was at warlock, who was supposed to be dead
