Oh, yep.
Speaking of books ways away;
- Iceman, 12 issues.
- Jean Grey, 12 issues.
- Generation X, 12 issues. (maybe 1 more arc?)
Which is a shame because I'm really interested in all 3 of those titles.
Hi thank you for this list had no idea about these titles coming out :)
I don't think so royals is the inhumans flagship book it's not going to be cancelled by issue 20 it is true that swings other main title ultimates struggles in the sales despite it being soooo amazing it sadly shows that even some of the best titles can't sell....
I found it interesting that digital sales for MS Marvel were higher than print ones .Also I think cancelling some of these books so soon doesn't help with sales either IMO.
A ways away, but I fully expect The Black Bolt Solo and Secret Warriors to be done by issue 12 and then Royals by about issue 20
When are these coming out by the way ?
When are these coming out by the way ?
Inhuman Prime is scheduled for the last week of March, so April.
Sold!
(Or Secret Avengers)
Yea we need Black Widow and Clint as Hawkeye in the avengers again! :)
So...
Solo is done. Foolkiller and Slapstick are most likely done with 5th issues as well.
Black Widow's final issue is 12.
Scarlet Witch ends with issue 15.
Bleeding Cool says Great Lakes Avengers is probably cancelled with issue 6 as the TPB now collects 6 issues instead of 5.
They also speculate MoonGirl and Thunderbolta each have 1 issue left.
Spider-Woman and Hellcat have those 'final issue covers' so who knows whats up with them.
Predictions on other upcoming cancellations:
Mosaic is possibly getting dragged for another arc, ugh.
Of course all 3 solo Guardian books will not reach past 12. No doubt there at all.
I don't see America and Hawkeye lasting for long.
Prowler not lasting long.
Foolkiller is indeed gone, but Slapstick survives.
Yes, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch are gone.
GLA issue 7 was solicited. Safe for another five issues then?
Moon Girl's description for April did sound finaleish. So did Thunderbolts, but then so did both Captain Americas and Uncanny Avengers, so they may be just wrapping up in prep for Secret Empire. Waiting game on that one.
Spider-Woman is gone. Hellcat survives.
Yeah, Mosaic's still around. Prowler is gone.
Moon Knight ends in May: https://twitter.com/jefflemire/status/824053900776837121

Silver Surfer #12 features Dawn waving goodbye, which to me indicates a last issue.
-
I feel Uncanny Avengers will be ending some time before or after Secret Empire. I just don't see the Unity Division lasting much longer given the recent drama with Mutants & Inhumans as well as the stuff with Steve & whatevers going on in Deadpool's book.
-
If it continues, it's definitely getting retooled.
As in "people don't like to read books with high numbers because they feel they've missed too much backstory"? Yeah, I've heard that. It's a shame. I never thought that when I was young and I bought FANTASTIC FOUR 116; I just saw the neat cover and dove right in. In fact, the high issue number made me think "wonder what kinds of neat stuff happened in the preceding 115 issues?"
Different world now, I guess. (sigh)
Probably a lot easier to think that when comics were $0.25 a pop (~$1.52 in 2017 dollars). At $3.99-4.99 (or sometimes even $9.99), purchasing comics tend to require more thought and/or a bigger wallet. I make extensive use of Marvel Unlimited and failing that, wikipedia to catch up on stories. It's just too expensive otherwise.

Uncanny Avengers 22 to me sounded like it was going to be a cliffhanger ending so I don't think it's ending?
-
yeah even know if there's a new series I'm into and it's already past 12, I'll try to find a jumping on point instead of grabbing #1 just to see if I like it. I did that with Uncanny Avengers #15 for instance, and was glad I did! And actually, that's why I'm glad that Marvel will do these "___ Stars HERE!" things, like with the "Grounded" story arch in Guardians Of The Galaxy #15. It's kind of a way of saying to potential readers,'hey, it's alright if you didn't read the first 14. You can just start here.'
I've noticed on Rebirth, DC has been putting the title of the story arc above the logo and the beginning of a new arc is clearly marked as Part One. I find that really convenient when browsing shelves.

They didn't give solicitation for Secret Empire 0
all Cap books, Thunderbolts, Ua have something about ending in their solicitation
I think that we will learn more about this later but Marvel will probably make some changes with rosters
i think that some members of UA will return to Cap Steve Rogers and give him Red Skull.
Uncanny Avengers 22 to me sounded like it was going to be a cliffhanger ending so I don't think it's ending?
That means nothing, because cancelled or not, it's leading in to Secret Empire.
