I've been rereading Darwyn Cooke's DC: Brave Frontier, and I adore his take on the Silver Age heroes so much, espeially Wonder Woman and Hal's! I forgot how great the build up was for Hal in that book. From the war, his first kill, his internal struggle to getting the ring and being told how brave and full of willpower he was! Hal's always been my numero uno GL.
