Metal Gear Solid.

Silent Hill.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (for a totally nostalgic point of view).
Since a couple of folks mentioned it, Techu... deserves a spot if only for that it had some really choice glitches.
1.Metal Gear Solid.By far the best game of PSX.Great plot(still the best of the series IMO),great gameplay and the best voice acting in PSX and probably one of the best till now.
2.FF VII.Not my favorite one(VIII has that privilage),but it put FF franchise to the map and probably the most iconic rpg of that era.
3.Crash Bandicoot trilogy.I can't separate them. It's a full enjoyment playing the first 3 Crash games. My favorite platform games.
4.Tekken 3.The best overall game of the series and one of the greatest fighting games of all times.
5.Legacy of Kain. The fact that our anti-hero turns into a tyrant it's one of the elements that makes LOK one of PSX classics.
6.Resident Evil 2.The best of horror game of PSX.4 scenarios to play and enough stuff to keep you interested.
7.Silent Hill.I always loved RE's monsters, but i feel that Silent Hill atmosphere and creepy feeling makes it a slightly superior game in comparison to CAPCOM's franchise.
8.WWF Smackdown 2.The best wrestling game of it's time and the best roster.
That one certainly deserves a mention.
A game I really, really loved was Bouncer. When I first played I was addicted. Another great one is Neopets: the Darkest Faerie. Very Zelda like and load of fun.

What about the greatest sports game of all time. Hot Shots Golf.
I'll go ahead and chime in with the first two Suikoden games.
If you are a big PS1 fan, I highly recommend getting a PS Classic for $20 and modding it with Autobleem. I have a 256gb thumb drive with hundreds of PS1 games on it (as well as other retro systems like NES, SNES, Genesis, etc). For $20 it really can't be beat!!
Metal Gear Solid
Spider-Man
Tony Hawk: Pro Skater 2
Gran Turismo 2
Smackdown 2: Know Your Role
I still remember my bro coming home from university with a modded ps1, and a slew of games. The ones that stayed with me are:
-FF 7
- Tenchu
- Chrono Cross
- Tony Hawk
- Spiderman
- Legend of The Dragoon
1. Chrono Cross
2. Suikoden II
3. FFVII
4. Metal Gear Solid
5. FFVIII

Metal Gear Solid
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Capcom vs. SNK Pro (Despite not being as good as the Dreamcast version and being obsolete, as CVS2 was already out on PS2 by this point, it’s a surprisingly faithful port given the PS1’s limitations. It certainly turned out better than the butchered Marvel vs. Series PS1 ports.)
Pac-Man World (an underrated platformer, IMO. It’s not the most innovative game, but it translated Pac-Man into a 2.5D/3D environment fairly well for what it was. I’m hoping it and its sequels get the Spyro Reignited/Crash N. Sane Trilogy treatment some day.)
