I'm more surprised Alex is viewed as the voice of reason, considering his actions at the prison.
The authentic mutant power of Scott is that when they try to make him look bad he looks good and that when they try to make him look good, he looks bad.
It is as if he rebelled actively against the writers.

[SPOIL] So Scott steps down and goes along with a committee idea. Maybe now Havok can stop whining. His eye power seems to be weaker and his debate skills feel off. Gets a good hit on Pyro though.

I'm guessing this wasn't Rosenbum's finest work? Or is it? XD

It was meh. Nothing stellar but at least there was talk outside of the usual whining/dumb bromance.

So, what does Cyke actually have going for him at this moment?

First he lost an eye, and now this???
Someone reaaaally hate Scott.
lol.

A day without crapping on Scott is a wasted day on the X-Office. God, I'm almost hoping he doesn't meet Jean ever again because that will be another opportunity for them to take a shot at him. Marvelous #4 is already on the wait for the task, whatever happens or is said when they meet will be used to make Scott look worse.

I almost PITY them for having vendetta against a fictional character.

I thought this was a great moment. I think Cyclops has had a lot of great moments since Rosenberg took over. He is steadily building him back up after being gone and villainized for so long. This issue felt like another critical step. Hope it all leads to something big once Hickman takes over.

Cue the Weekly Cycle(TM pending) of the Cyke Appreciation Thread!

Sometimes, I do so envy your positivity. But I've been disillusioned in watching "critical steps" because of all the gimmicky writing xD like, it's almost like reading click-bait flame articles for me :))

The latest issue sounds weak.
Rosenberg's Cyclops wouldn't have made it past Round 1 of House of M. Really hoping Hickman gives Scott some cajones
-
I can not stop laughing with Havok's face in the voting, he thought Scott was going to put him in charge.

Killed by dr. doom in SW issue #1. If you know what I mean.

I wish Scott had come back under a better writer. Ive been very unimpressed with Rosenberg's solo Uncanny run
