Among celebrities, whom would you say is best known as a huge DC Comics fan? I mean someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about DC characters and lore, and happens to be a celebrity.

Ben Affleck is a pretty big comic fan.
I guess Nicolas Cage really. I think Shaq is a massive fan and that's all I know. Kevin Smith obviously.
Whedon, Elon Musk, every oil sultan/prince.
I'm throwing Jerry Seinfeld's name out there.
Jonathan Ross in the UK is a huge comics fan...
I think Seth Meyers is a big Ted Kord fan.
Has to be Mark Hamill. Was a fan of the comics before he became famous, and is more recognizable than anyone named so far IMO. Affleck is second I think.

This.

Really? Well, I still can't forgive him for Steel. :p :D
Ban Affleck and Nicolas Cage are without a doubt the two most famous celebrities that also happen to be fans of DC Comics.

Oh that typo! if only they would Ban Affleck!
I'd say it's a shoot out between Mark Hamill and Nic Cage of those mentioned as most famous. Mark may have made less movies than Affleck but surely everyone knows who Luke Skywalker is?
Why do we care? They are still just people.
You have to take such claims by celebrities with a grain of salt. Al Gore once told Courtney Love at a party that he was a big fan of hers, and she challenged him to name one of her songs. He couldn't.
Big celebrity AND "passionate and knowledge about [DC] characters"?
I agree. Gotta be Cage. He named his kid "Kal-el" and once did a "Batman trivia game" on the "Tonight Show."
Howard Stern is pretty big into Silver age DC but I don't think he's kept up with the material.
Affleck likes Batman but i think he's otherwise a Marvel guy.
Smith is more of a cult figure than a "big star."
D. B. Woodside from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Lucifer is a DC comics fan.

He is more of a Marvel fan
