Khamala Khan (Who frankly could use a better group to be associated these days)
Ooh I quite like the idea of Kamala as a mutant. It would be poetic justice for IvX and the final nail in the coffin of Marvel’s failed Inhumans push

Sharon Ventura. Make it so the rocket accident actually triggered her mutation to become instinctively a female version of stronger beings . For the first incident she was close to The Thing therefore she became She-Thing. Doom turned her into a monster for a time. Her mutation could make her a She-Hulk, She-Colossus, She-Gorgon, etc. And she would learn to revert back to human form.

Miles Morales- Being a mutant i feel would open a whole new world to him and also travel via gates which i feel could add a lot of story to street level heroes who decide not to live on krakoa but could still use the gates.
Spiderman- Same reason as Miles.
I also think it would actually be a nice twist if twist if the krakoa drug lowkey activated the mutant gene. I mean lorna herself had a latent gene and look how powerful she became so it would be intereting to see a story where Ma Guthrie started suffering from Dementia and took one of the krakoan drugs and in that story we find out it activates the latent x-gene and she becomes a mutant. But i guess that would be a pretty minuit story.
Some people speculate that it will be undone at some point and its only there to give the FF freedom from whatever Hickman's era does to mutants for the moment. I'm more cynical though and feel they just want to keep the franchises seperate.
The explanation was that Franklin's reality powers made him trick himself and the world he was a mutant. It's all very dumb.
I didn't know that, thank you.
I hate when they do that kind of thing.
so Wanda Piero her children and squirrel girl should be mutants again.

Miles Morales, Cloak and Dagger.

Texas Twister. His 'origin' was always super-silly, so having him be a mutant whose power was unlocked during the tornado (that he subconsciously summoned) might make more sense (skip the radiation part entirely...).
And Shooting Star should *return* to being a mutant, able to fly under her own power. (Later retconned to her having some sort of gyros in her cowboy boots that allowed her to 'ride on the Texas Tornado's twisters' or some such nonsense.)
And yeah, the other usual 'used to be a mutant, should go back to being mutants' roster. Wanda, Pietro, Franklin.
And Janet van Dyne, the Wasp. A mutant able to generate bio-electricity. The shrinking and bug stuff can come from Pym particles and tech, but the energy blasts (and occasional enhanced strength from supercharging her musculature) should be all Janet!
I don't care about Cloak and Dagger being mutants either way, but if they do visit Krakoa, the Runaways gag of people mistaking Dagger for Dazzler *MUST* continue.

Some here really want some revenge porn out of those retcon it seems.

Wasp as a mutant reminds me of her Ultimate Marvel self, whose blood and DNA were reverse-engineered by Hank Pym for his Pym Particles. Also, using bioelectricity to supercharge her muscles (and speed up her neuroelectric processes) sounds like something I could see Jessica Drew and Miles Morales doing, too, since their "Venom Blast/Strike" powers are a byproduct of the excess bioelectricity that allows them to wall-crawl by generating Van der Waals forces to stick to surfaces.

Cloak & Dagger. Cherub. Ms Marvel. America Chavez. The Maximoff Twins..
I don’t think any of their mutant ‘coming outs’ would be particularly interesting, in and of itself. Well, maybe besides the twins and Cherub but the rest, I’d just go down the ‘the experimentations/alterations done to their body activated their latent/dormant x-gene’ route. The real fun would be them interacting with the greater mutant universe while also having the wherewithal to carry their own stories. [spoil]I would want Cherub to go thru Crucible tho[/spoil]

So do either of you have an idea on how to retcon the fact we saw Kamala through Terrigenesis. We see her be in the mist, be wrapped around the concoon, and emerge from it. This is the biggest thing blocking this little idea, but it isn't the only one.

Maybe the T-Cloud had a hostile reaction to her un-activated X-gene and was attempting to kill her, but her sudden mutation changed her to a pliable state that could survive it attempting to break her down?
Thanks to both Terregenesis *and* mutation being kind of 'eh, whatever the writer wants, really,' an unforeseen interaction between the two catalysts could quite easily do something never before seen, and hard to reproduce.
But I'm fine with Kamala remaining a 'NuHuman.' It was one of the better ideas from the Inhumans push, IMO, since the previous state of the Inhumans was stuck being not-terribly-diverse.

Wanda and Pietro need to come back home
Cloak and Dagger as well, tbh I thought they were mutants
Carol Danvers
Tony Stark, he's like Forge but better. (I feel bad for saying that because I like Forge)
Tony Stark, he's like Forge but better. (I feel bad for saying that because I like Forge)
There needs to be, IMO, *some* sort of explanation why human geniuses like Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Hank Pym, von Doom are so much demonstrably smarter than actual superhumanly intelligent sorts, like the mutant Gremlin (or the Leader or the High Evolutionary, etc.). Maybe Tony 'cheats' with his AI nano-stuff infesting his body. Maybe Reed cheats a bit with his powers plasticizing his brain and allowing it vastly more effective folding and striata and whatnot. Doom parallel processes with all those Doombots who think they are him anyway (and, more or less, *are* a distributed part of him, as much as an arm or leg, at this point).
My choice for mutanting up a genius would be Valeria Richards. Her genius is just way out of line for a 'regular human,' and she doesn't have the sorts of 'cheats' built in that so many of the above already kind of have (even if none of them 'officially' cheat). But if she, like her brother Franklin, turned out to be a mutant, with superhuman intelligence as an actual super-power, I'd be pretty cool with that.

Hazmat, Finesse, Bombshell and Wonder Man.

What for? What would it mean? Is it becoming a member of some aristocracy of super-heroes? The reaction of the others to this new “status”? Being “feared and hunted” when it was not the case previously? I think this last case would be interesting but difficult to write… Most of super-heroes have been well established for a long time and changing what they are would bring nothing but confusion.
So, for me, no one. Except maybe a new one, especially created for this case.
