I dropped The Flash because of all the ridiculous other forces. Is that coming back after Year One is over?
Sorry Jekyll mate.
They're back straight after Year One finishes.
I feel your pain. Sage Force? Still Force? Ugh.

Wasn't there a -map- of the DCU not long ago that showed the Speed Force? I don't recall any other 'Forces' on it. What next... midichlorians?

Just finished this series and it somehow makes me love Barry even more. It's also made me really want to read Green Lantern.

Yup. Mark Waid AGAIN proved that Barry doesn't have to be the 'boring straight laced' character people often refer to him as.
If you haven't read it, get your hands on JLA Year One and give that a read. It's Waid & Kitson again - but for 12 issues!

Or need a dead mom and imprisoned father as part of his backstory :).

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out.

That honestly doesn't bother me. It felt more like Thawne one-upping himself after killing Iris. Since she came back he found a new way to make Barry miserable and he succeeds until Barry met Iris in the new timeline Thawne created.
