Yeah this is just a contest for #2, Vertigo rules all imprints.
But I am really enjoying Black Label right now. And even though it's not for me, the kid based stuff, what is it now, Zoom? That's what DC *needs* to survive and get the younger generation/s interested in their stuff. So I'm a big fan of that imprint and recommend it to other parents for their kids.

Vertigo was, overall, pretty darn good. But I'd vote for Milestone for best whole new world within the world, Xombie, Static, Icon and the Rocket, my favorites, with other titles right close behind.

Can we count Milestone as an imprint? From my understanding it was more a whole company in and of itself, who dealt with DC's infrastructure for distribution and adaptation options.
If we're including Milestone on the list then yeah, that's definitely #2.

Vertigo and Elseworlds.
At it's peak, Vertigo couldn't put a foot wrong.
Elseworlds gave us some great stories too.

What a cheap bait for a Vertigo appreciation thread. Nevertheless... Vertigo. It's no contest, really.
Honorable mentions : Elseworlds, the current ink/zoom merger, young animal and Milestone.
I want to say Black Label, but outside a small number of books I've been indifferent to it's titles.
