There's already been whining about 'redhead erasure' before these images even came out. I can just imagine the salt being poured out if her hair isn't red enough in the actual movie
I'm just happy we'll have red hair and the cowl :).

I like the cowl but I don't hugely care about the hair color. Accuracy is nice but I'm more interested in whether they get her personality and motivations accurate (and whether she's a good actress)

I haven't seen that one. But I don't think he'll be bad. I was just a little surprised

I don't think it would really be Barbara Gordon's Batgirl without the red hair.

Hoping the red hair is actually her hair and not a wig like the Batwoman suit.
But yeah Fraser can do crazy. Robot Man is proof of that.

Leslie Grace talked about having her hair dyed red before so I don't think it's off the table.

Yeah, I don't really agree. If she's the same personality-wise, the hair color isn't hugely important to me. I don't think she originally was even a redhead

I'm talking from a visual perspective. In the 60's show she wore a red wig but the comic version was always a redhead.

Still, her not being a redhead doesn't really break it for me. I'm more concerned with how her character is portrayed in terms of being a person

I think it's important to get her character right, but for her costumed identity it's important that it looks like her Batgirl.
Definitely going with some Batgirl: Year One vibes by throwing Firefly in there (no Killer Moth?).
I guess they wanted Batgirl's first villain take down to still be some insect themed villain and they found that Firefly is much more usable for film then Killer Moth. Heck they couldn't even figure out how to use him in BTAS which was disappointing.

Edgy realistic Killer Moth would be kind of hilarious though :p.

How important? Does not having red hair not make her Batgirl?

Is Killer Moth even much of a thing these days?

Visually it helps distinguish her Batgirl from her successors.

Yeah? He's not an A-lister but he makes the rounds.

I doubt there are going to be any successors in this movie. By the time any of them come around, we'd already be familiar with this one

Wasn't he downgraded as a threat after Batgirl defeated him?
