F * C K YESSSSSSS INSTANT PULL
Alright Magik is in the house yay
No Dani and Doug? Ok...
Not a bad team though, not even Rahne's messy ass. Hopefully this dovetails into an ongoing once Sam and Berto are freed up and adds Dani and Doug too. Strong Guy I could lose.

I just don't understand why they wouldn't have timed things to have this book available in trade before April, when the movie comes out.
So Tabitha is finally in a book again and she's reduced to the stereotypical version of her and she looks like a little kid even though she'd be like 19 or 20 by now...not good...
I'm kind of surprised they're releasing something like this without the full original team attached to it rather then what feels like an odd mix of New Mutants and X-Factor.
I mean, it's nice to have a New Mutants book coming out and the team does look fun, just feels kind of weird.
A mini with six standalone stories is an interesting format.
And I guess Magik's finally going back to her old costume :p.
I hope the writer knows Strong Guy killed Rahne's son, Tier, and the whole story about it.
I found it a real shame because it was one of the x-kids that made more sense and had the most lore behind, Rahne falling in love with a wolf god from Asgard is decades old, from Claremont's original run

I hope this isn't the only tie-in synergy that goes along with the movie.

You add Doug, which means you gotta add Warlock. But no Dani is very weird.
I’m more than fine to not have Doug, but no Dani is a little crushing.
I hope we’re not back to generic/bland blue/yellow uniforms. Magik finally evolved!
Nonetheless I am very stoked. The lineup is my favorite of the current books. I cannot wait!

They're releasing a bunch of New Mutants Epic Collections during that time period though for some god-forsaken reason that includes some late era Simonson stuff and literally the New Mutants v2 run which has almost nothing to do with the original team.
Karma! Magik! Rictor! Boom Boom! Definitely getting this! :D
I hope the mention of hints at the future of the team mean an actual ongoing is in the works.
Love this! Although they mentioned Karma, its odd that she isn't on the cover. I hope it isn't something akin to an Xavier like role, as I would like to see her out in the field again. Regardless, I love everyone on this lineup, and hope this has the potential to be a regular title and not just a limited series.
