Maybe they misinterpreted the whole "fighting evil with love" thing?
It's like DC is trying to one-up itself with what terrible creative decisions they can inflict upon their characters.
"I don't get it. We announced Batman's billionth new show, Superman's millionth new show, and and Injustice movie on the same day. Why aren't more Wonder Woman fans happy?"
-DC, and Batman and Superman fans, probably :p

Laughing my ass off here, sorry guys, but this is too perfect a cover not to post considering one of my biggest complaints about DCAU WW is that her entire character revolves around getting shipped with Batman. It’s totally a fakeout but it amuses me, this is the kind of stuff they do with her because they don’t know what else to do.
I'm going to say it's a nod to Superfriends and call it a day.

Or maybe they are paying tribute to the people that wrote the Super Friends cartoon. Where somebody thought it'd be great if Darkseid had the hots for Diana. Sigh

They don't know, or they don't care to put the effort to do anything else with her? Because after 80 years. Where more often than not they threw her under the bus on at least the past 40 years or so. I would find it hard to believe that in all that time, people at DC couldn't be smart enough to figure out something to do with her, other than being some other character's crush, or a one note warrior woman that batman and superman must put in her place and teach about morality.

So timm and co continue to fail with WW. They didn't think that Marston, Perez or Lynda version of the character could be the right way to go. But when it comes to shallo or poor versions like Superfriends(and i liked the show but come on, that WW is not memorable at all). Or the man who has everything. Now then they adapt the material being 100% faithful. Seems like they only do that with the versions that paint WW in a bad light. Sigh

WTF. What in the &*#$@ng $%k?
Once again, Diana is reduced to "sexy girlfriend" or "sexy romantic object" or whatever the term is to make a female character a piece of meat for the male characters to drool over.
Even if the cover doesn't reflect the story, it says a lot about what DC thinks of Diana when they use this art to somehow "hook" anyone into reading the book.
Ugh.

Oh my... I suddenly remembered that ridiculous story where Diana gives to Darkseid part of her soul. Now she gives him her body? Life is a circle :p
FYI, comic book covers were the original click bait. What's depicted in the cover does not actually happen in the comics themselves.
Case in point:

That cover is just a tongue-in-cheek reference to Superfriends where Darkseid was love stricken by Diana. Plus it did it's job and got people talking.
I had a good laugh at the cover tbh. Darkseid would be lucky to have the champion of the Amazons, and like someone said likely a callback to Superfriends episode where he wants to marry her. Not a biggie imo.
If they going to do a brutal version of WW in this movie..I just hope they do it brutally right, and not water down her power.

What movie?
What movie?
Injustice I assume since it’s the only one we know of that she’s in.

We all know that movie won't be good for her.
