Nooooo....not Mr. Popeil!
My father had his Pocket Fisherman back in the '70s. He never used it if we went on a planned fishing trip, but it worked well in a pinch for an impromptu one (and we kids didn't have to worry about a hook in our faces driving in the car, either! :D)

While it's been a noteworthy week, this seems worth the mention...

Markie Post, one of the great sitcom actresses of the last half century, has passed away at only 70 years of age.

Wasn't she in Night Court?
Wasn't she in Night Court?
Yes. She was the female lead.

I just saw her on an old episode of Barnaby Jones only a few days ago. I guess the place where she first became known was on The Fall Guy, but she didn't really do too much there (though I do recall her looking great in a bikini in one episode :)). When she went to Night Court, I thought it was a weird choice (like the original lead on the show) because she wasn't known for comedy then. Obviously, she did fine there.
Yes. She was the female lead.
She was actually the third (or fourth, if you include the pilot) female lead / public defender for that show.
She started in Season 3 and stayed through the remainder of the run.

Really, didn't remember the others.

Correct. The first one was on a show with Perry King and Noah Beery, Jr. that I used to watch called The Quest, but it didn't last long. She had great eyes, FWIW.

Frank and beans!
She will also be remembered for some very popular swimsuit pin-up posters.

She was in so many TV shows… She will probably stay forever “Terri” from the “Fall Guy” for me.
