That’s the thing.
Donald Trump is such a colossal piece of s#*! that this is just ‘one more thing’, at this point.
If only someone had said something about Trump and his unfitness to be president BEFORE things got to this point.
If only there had been SOMEONE - let alone several someones- who could have warned up that this man was a dumpster fire covered in Cheeto dust.
If only there was, like...a record available at the time, of some sort of his shady dealings, hateful behavior, bigoted actions, and sexual assault accusations...
If only people had voted intelligently instead of holding grudges and voting for him out of ignorance, hatred, or spite.
If only we could have known how bad this would get.
If only Republican Party members hadn’t fallen in lockstep behind him instead of having moral and ethical objections to literally everything about him except for his affiliation and his blatant racism and general bigotry.
Oh well. Too bad nobody said anything when it could have mattered...

The majority, already know he is scum. His supporters don't care or blindly refuse to accept any bad facts about him. Trump daily does things that would bring down any other Administration. He survives, not because of some great political skill or favor with the American people. He survives because the Republican Party has decided the back him no matter the crimes or treason he commits. this rests on them.
Republicans know he is scum. But Democrats hate him, so therefore he deserves defending.
Donald Trump jeopardizes our national security on a daily basis, and the GOP is fine with it because it "triggers the libs".
There's no other explanation.

This is a fair point. The media messed up giving Trump twice as much attention as the other Republican candidates combined in the 2016 Republican primary, even though Trump didn't get as many votes.
A large online Christian group has filed a complaint against U.S. Attorney General William Barr over his recent speech at the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Barr spoke to a closed group of Notre Dame law students on October 11th.
The non-profit group, Faithful America, filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice saying Barr’s speech violated his oath to uphold the constitution.
Barr’s speech was reportedly on ‘religious liberty.’ In it, he blamed secularism for societal problems. Faithful America says the speech is a clear violation of the first amendment’s ban on an establishment of religion. The group also filed a petition with more than 13-thousand of its member’s signatures.
The following is the group's complaint to the Department of Justice:
They gave him attention by showcasing what a s#*!show he was and he STILL got elected by your party. Still has the support of your party leadership. Still has the bulk of your party’s rank and file support. Your party is to blame for his presidency, not ‘the media’, ‘liberals’, Hillary Clinton..
Even now, ‘taking responsibility’ for this horror show of a presidency is impossible for the party of ‘personal responsibility and morality’...

The Muslim ban was deeply troublesome, and the folks in the media realized that. But they didn't recognize that the majority of the public was on board with it.

Or maybe they recognized it, and figured that a candidate Trump will sell papers and lose to Hillary Clinton, so no big deal. Hell, most would prefer a Democrat in the White House anyway so nothing wrong with favoring a weak Republica in the primaries.

The majority was behind it, as you say, because of the MASSIVE disinformation campaign by your party’s media wing and your party’s Russian Twitterbot and Facebook bot allies.
Again, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY - and the Russian interference the candidate requested - is responsible for Trump. No one else.
Hillary was not a good nominee. I won’t argue that. But she was orders of magnitude better than the embarrassment and shame that your party foisted on the rest of us and now tries to pass off blame for to anyone but themselves. Your party chose Trump. Your party supported him. Your party STILL supports him. Your party chose - and continues to choose - to cater to ignorance and fear in order to gain power.
Congratulations. You got it. And now the rest of us have to deal with it.

What did the Russian media have to do with public support for a Muslim ban? That had a plurality in favor in 2015.

It came at a time when a majority of the public was ready to say they would not vote for a Muslim President.

I think my reaction is this...
So, Pence complained about Nike & the NBA's Chinese blunders.
That being said, I must point out the two flaws in Mike Pence's argument.
1. Mike Pence got money over the years from various companies that did business with China. His third largest individual donor overall, according to Open Secrets, was Eli Lilly, the Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical giant that has multiple facilities throughout the Chinese mainland. Heck, if you go to their website, you can get hired at one of their multiple offices in Shanghai or Guangzhou.
2. For a guy who wants to paint the Chinese as oppressive (and let's be realistic, the regime has been, and it's been like this since the Boxer Rebellion forced out the Qing dynasty, bringing forth decades of unstable government changes leading to the rise of communist rule), Pence has been very favorable of stripping rights away from certain Americans. Naturally, Pence strongly is against homosexuality of any kind and not only considers it immoral, but he supports conversion therapy that should be paid by taxpayer money. On top of that, he refused to pardon a black man who was wrongfully arrested, leaving Eric Holcomb to do that, and did not want to bring in Syrian refugees, citing "the security of the state".
Dude is a hypocrite and a snake, but that's obvious to anyone.
Depends, do they deport European immigrant wife beaters too?
Exactly! We don't seem to give a flying **** that 1 in 4 police officers in this country violently beat the **** out of their spouses on a regular basis, though, because men in uniform are above reproach! It only becomes a problem when a brown person does it, I guess......

The problem is we have a system set up in which people believe that the police are "above the law" since they enforce the law, but there's also an unwritten rule amongst law enforcement that discourages police officers from dealing with corrupt, incompetent, or violent members. People who "snitch" are ostracized within the department which means that they're open to hazing and are likely left to fend for themselves in a violent situation amongst their frat boy peers, and anyone that gets in trouble can just migrate to another district within the region; so-called "gypsy cops". Combine this with numbskulls who scream "Blue Lives Matter" and adapting the police agency nationwide from just arresting and shooting people as the solution to any problem to dealing with modern day civic issues by employing multiple tactics, including diplomacy and treatment for substance abuse that doesn't involve locking up an addict every time they have something in their system or on his/her belongings (a scary thought, I know) becomes a harder task.
As I have said numerous times; I've got police officer friends, and it is very easy to vilify law enforcement. However, public perception and internal politics have designed it so introducing the practice to the 21st century and not making them "the enemy of the people" amongst inner city and minority groups would require lots of effort and change, a lot that would be fought by those who want to keep things the way they are.
