This book can be quite hit or miss for me but I've been enjoying the current storyline and I'm looking forward to this issue.

Both are on the team in this issue. What are you even on about?

Where is there confirmation that Lorna is officially leaving? Additionally, even if she was to head into X-Men:
1) Why can't she exist in two book concurrently as so many others do?
2) The poll literally was less than a month ago and the unveiling isn't happening until the Hellfire Gala which is this summer. I don't think that any issue before the Hellfire Gala could be impacted. No artist or writer is going to have time to rewrite and redraw issues that have gone to print given a future status quo.
Also, Aurora is already an unofficial member and has been included in several issues already. So that wouldn't be a surprise or anything given JM's tenure on the team.

Seriously.
I don't like the voice for Rachel, I'm so happy she's getting attention but Leah's writing for me reeks of her inserting or supplanting personalities into her cast opposed to the story itself shaping the changing in their voices.

This is the best Rachel’s been ever since Excalibur, though lol

It really like that. Writers have to realize that people don't talk like twitter/tumblr

Yeah, I agree. And I dig Amazing Baby too.

Agreed. He's creepy AF.

While I obviously hope she joins X-Men soon, we don't have proof that's what happened. It's very possible that X-Factor fans on Twitter killed her shot at it by insisting she's being treated perfectly on this book and doesn't deserve anything more or better. And even if she does get to join X-Men, she's still "on this team" right now, so it makes sense to include her on covers. Plus this one's more accurate to how this book treats her than past covers.

I honestly can't disagree with this statement, but I've tried with Leah and while I do think she has an overall handle on her cast. Their voices don't feel right or earned to me, I feel like the best example I have is I feel like Leah tries to do what Vita is doing over in New Mutants. The differences for me is Vita seems to understand where the character are then pushes them forward based on their personalities. Leah on the other-hand, has an idea of who the character is and pushes her idea forward regardless if it feels faithfully to their core. Rachel isn't bad per say her voice, simply feels like that generic character voice writers use to get from point a to point b narratively speaking. Same as Jean under Hickman.
Rachel was way better in X Men Gold. Guggenheim is such a better writer than Leah though so it’s nit surprising. He doesn’t write like he’s tumblr.
