Comics have entered a chose your own fanfic for stories when things happen off panel with no explanation. I can't wait to see the poster battles on how [SPOIL]Rahne[/SPOIL] dies for each reader.
"They died eating a ham sandwich"
"Are you a moron? What comic are you reading? They died when they were torn in half!"
"No you're both wrong they died by sentient bacteria infecting Magneto to give them a planetary stroke."
I liked seeing Kwannon in her best Mileena impression, even though Mortal Kombat’s costumes have evolved to be less tacky than the X-Men’s.
Sure, it was sort of cute that these costumes were all the X-Men could find but EVERYONE is digging into the back of their closets for their battle attire.
Also Toad is green again...LOL.
I regret supporting this comic financially but I’m positive [spoil]Rahne’s death[/spoil] will be addressed next issue.

That's mostly because Marvel regressed back to 80s/90s.

MK of all franchises has made an intentional move away from thongkinis and improving costume design whereas the X-Office is foolishly wasting Kevin Wada and collectively wearing their underwear outside of their pants again.
I like Rosenberg...but this book is a damn hot mess!
Too much going on with not enough focus.
Such a shame because I love the cast.
What!
So the most voted death (Hope, Warlock, Karma) didn't happen?
And it happened off-panel?
Why does everything have to happen off panel for Rosenberg?
Bring Cypher back.

Isn't this Rosenberg's usual pattern as a writer, though? Lots of good ideas, high energy plotting, focus can be a little iffy, can't really stick a landing?
Even though Scott stepped down, I did like seeing Dani and him fire off orders back-to-back & having Shan be the one to sway Cain to leave.

Well, if Hope wasn’t gonna die last issue, I don’t think he’d follow up a fakeout with a real one just an issue later. But I do think Logan was supposed to kill Hope last issue.
And Cypher’s in the Age of X-Man.

You need to take it easy because the costume designs for both sides are still horrid. Compared to the visual mess I have to deal with in this book and some of Age of Nate, MK may still have the lead but they're still bad.
Yes lets have everyone be leaders...it works so well in the military...we can apply that for spur of the moment decisions.
Dumbest thing ever.
I had high hopes for this but its really gone down hill since the first issue.
I would be more enraged about all the deaths if I thought they were going to stick.
Cyclops really should have stayed dead.
Rosenberg and Brisson are like these unrefined ores that could one day be smelted into powerful metals.
That means they need good editors.

Is this why dwarves are appearing in the next issue? To smith the ores?

the x-men are not the military but you can have a "board" taking decisions and a single tactical field leader on missions.
