I'd definitely be fighting for Mutantkind.
Xavier, even if many people hate him.
He founded the dream, even if he can be a jerk he is well intended and not a terrorist. Idealism accompained with some pragmatism sounds great to me.
it would depend heavily on what type of powers I had, and how I was able to control them (or not) over the years.
it also depends on who you associate with what "era" of X-Men/mutant teams.
Considering this is from the point of view of the earlier days, I would probably join Xavier. It just seems like the "better" option for that time. I'm not sure what would happen after the choices he makes.

Lol, probably.
Then who is Ravenclaw?
Great question.
I wouldn't designate an existing group as "the Ravenclaws", but I think your Beasts, Ceces, Prodigies, Transonics are Ravenclaws. I want to put Trinary there but she's a Gryff. Xavier is smart and inquisitive but I think he's a good-leaning Slytherin.
Sinister is evil Ravenclaw.
Poccy is ALL Slytherin. Magneto a hard-liner Gryffindor.
The Brotherhood.
Magneto always did seem more honest.

I agree with that. I mean he is not mind wiping people ever time you turn around.
I’d seek out one of the many cures that have appeared over the years. No mutant powers = no persecution = win for everyone.
I think I would end up with some lame power and would try to join up with Magneto only to get turned down, which would lead me to turn to the Morlocks

They certainly are honest about murdering and enslaving humanity, which is why the X-men fought them.
Third option; I don't want to be a superhero anymore then I'd want to be a terrorist.
I would be more of a neutral Morlock type and try to stay out of either battles for or against humankind. But my preferences and allegiances would tip more towards the Brotherhood end of the spectrum.
