Moxley and Kingston win as post match Suzuki's music plays. He felt disrespected and that referees were against him.
Archer jumps Kingston as all 4 men brawl . Moxley blocks a spiked pile driver with microphone !
Ehh they could sell a huge PPV with Danielson vs Omega. Maybe this match is to set that up next week. Who knows.
Pretty solid AEW. Solid matches and loved seeing Sting sell to put over FTR. That Kazarian vs Cole match was really solid.
Good show...beyond the Punk n Hobbs spot.

A really fun strong (regular) Dynamite. A lot has to do with the sheer star power they have as far as Punk, Cole, and Danielson (and others).
I'm beyond excited for Danielson vs Omega.

Agreed 100%.
The show was just fun.
That was just part of the Lashley Kofi Feud. Kofi refused to abandon his pal
What a waste.
Dan Lambert is just the perfect heel. He gets the fans to sing Jerichos theme to him by heel work.
Lambert claims he's not shocked the master manipulator Tony Khan is out there. Accusing Jericho of taking peoples allowances etc. Jericho questions the whole America Top Team by asking...whos on top !
Lambert sets the match next week for New York. Punk compliments Jericho on the Escape from NY reference.
Billy Gunn mocks the whole wins n losses ranking system. As the Gunn Club is undefeated and got No Respect. Now things have changed
i'm a fan of mma and i HATE the lambert stuff. hated it in impact, hate it in aew. lambert is approaching russo edginess with his "shoot" comments. and having the real fighters there undermines scorpio & page. why would he have average size and smaller indy wrestler fight to prove his point when he has legit heavyweights arlovski and dos santos right there??
the only way i want to see lambert again is if he's going to SHEWT on punk and manage the REAL TRUTH mike jackson

I like Lambert as his character is diet Cornette.

i'd be with it if he ditched the mma fighters and stopped breaking kayfabe. i think he could be a good onscreen character as a traditionalist asshole manager, but pointing out how fake it is for guys to kick out of big spots is russo-ism. he could be a great manager for daniel garcia if garcia wasn't a 90lbs weakling.

I'm well aware of their PWG joke match there. Even if they had wrestled seriously, that match was well before Kenny Omega matured more and hit his prime.
I knew it was a strong Dynamite when I wasn't channel surfing much like I usually do. Because all the matches were good (or interesting enough) and all the promos fun or engaging.

good to know you have a sense of humor.
idk, i wouldn't say "well before". he was pretty damn good in 2009 and rapidly approaching his prime imo.

It's all very subjective and arbitrary of course, but I think Omega's prime started around say 2012 (or even after), so I'd say yes and no as far as what one defines as "rapidly approaching" IMHO.
But Omega was very good in 2009, I don't want it to seem like I'm taking too much from him. We'll just never know what that '09 match might have been had it been serious, I don't just assume that the hypothetical serious 2009 match would be like if they hypothetically wrestled in 2018 in NJPW (2018 Japan being the super ideal year & venue for these two to have wrestled IMHO, sorry AEW).

... have you seen the whole match ... ? It wasn't 100% comedy. The ending was an all out balls-to-the-wall clinic in pro wrestling.
It was more of a love letter to all aspects of pro wrestling. There were chain spots, mat spots, monkey spots, high spots, rest spots, comedy spots, skit spots, promo spots, false finishes ... it was a pretty good 4 star match.
It will be interesting to see what they do a decade removed.

Yeah, I’ve seen the entire match 2 or 3 times. It’s fun, but no four stars in my book. Though I think they could have produced one.

I think it was given 4 stars in several places. But I understand your point. It will be fun to see what they can do now.
Kenny has left the "comedy wrestler" gimmick behind (which was beginning to fade at that point) and Bryan is looking to get back into "wrestler" mode which he was fully in at that point.
Both of them have grown as performers. It will be fun to see. I cannot lie but I am hoping for a comedy spot or two. :D

Word around the DERT SHEEETZ is that "the boys in back" in WWE are over the moon for Big E's run.
And that a rebellion is brewing if Big E is not treated with respect while he has his run.
