My question is...why in the heck do aliens keep coming around messing with Earth? From chasing off Galactus to the Avengers leading the allied alien races in the Builder war...you would think there would be a galactic guide book with the entry....
Earth: Pretty nice place if a little primitive...just don't %$#@ with the natives.

So they can try Earth's food?
Seriously, that's what Spider-Man quipped after Echo killed Skrullektra in Japan: she traveled all the way from space to try yakisoba.
I've maintained that Earth's solar eclipse phenomenon would be something that would be touristy to see for aliens. The moon/sun size ratios are exact and would be a rare combination.

Dropped the book after today's issue. It feels so unimportant and uneventful. I was skimming pages because I was bored, something I never do with the FF. I held on for long enough.

Isn't this actually a good thing? Slott's non-big stories been better than his epics and a single issue between "Point of Origin" and "Empyre" offers a change of pace. Keep in mind I haven't even picked up the issue yet and I may actually think it sucks.

I dunno what people are talking about, the issue was pretty good.

I actually loved today's ish. Hot take, I know. Johnny focused which was nice. Don't rlly like sky tho. The ben and Reed scene was, dare I say, FANTASTIC? Sorry. Slott's Reed is a very good portrayal of a dad. He reminds me of my own (minus the stretching and the intellect). I just liked it OK!

Slott's run is like a Subway sub. It looks big, but it is unfulfilling in reality.

Slott's little details on this book are very good. And this issue was one I loved as well. He gets the family aspect of the book as well as any writer has. It's just the big stories and events that aren't up to snuff with him.

I feel so far from this run the only memorable things that have been established that have anytype of longevity is the Ben and Alicia overdue wedding and the fact that Iceman was in the fantastic 4 at one point, those are the first 2 things that pop in my head when I think of this run. And the latter has yet to even be explored.

I loved it too. The previous arc didn't do much for me but this issue brought back the element that I like best about Slott's run, just a strong focus on family.
I found this issue totally charming and all the character beats hit just right for me.

I enjoyed the issue. I like seeing the characters having some down time.

I liked this issue. It feels like some throwback comics, before the decompression era began. Very much a day in the life of.
