Lucifer
I've never read Lucifer or any of the Sandman comics but I thought this was one hell of a premier (pun intended). I loved the beginning when Lucifer managed to charm and corrupt an honest cop. I really love the performance of the actor playing Lucifer. I loved how Lucifer had a anti-hero segment that made him seem less evil and more a rebellious freedom lover who has father issues with God. It had a good plot and I loved Lucifer's power to make people tell the truth and exposes sinners in public. This show is on it's way to become the next big thing. I'm definitely hooked.

I'm hooked already too. It looks to be a devil of a good time if the rest of the series is as good as the pilot.
-
It was good start! I think if they run with it and keep it classic. It will work great!
Does anyone know if it says in the comics why Lucifer cant use his powers on the woman police officers?
Here a neat little article on this subject:

Beyond the names of a handful of characters, this series has no connection with the comics version. There are no cops in major roles, for starters.
-
Was this version any different than the leaked pilot?
-
Enjoyable pilot. Looks like DC/WB just might have another TV success,
-
It was okay, I had a hard time getting past the lead female bringing not only a complete stranger, but an obviously violent one to go to her kids school. It was really weird.
-
All I know is I was entertained. Not bad at all. What I began to really like about a show like Supernatural is that it tried it's best to work with the budget it had, in that demons were basically smoke going everywhere and angels expressed their powers in subtle ways like sound or light, I feel Lucifer should embrace it's budget. While the down to Earth stuff worked, when the angel would show up and the wings were CGI, it lost itself a little.0

I watched the pilot. I thought the guy playing Lucifer was okay but oh my god was it horrible.
-
What kind of car does he drove in the opening of the series?

Yeah, what's with the cop stuff? Does every network show have to have cops?
-
I miss Constantine. I don't need this to be Constantine 2.0 with DB Woodside playing the role of Harold Perrineau. Also, the Lucifer comics are really cool with their use of not just Christian imagery but other mythologies as well. I realize the show will be different, and the guy playing Lucifer had me laughing throughout most of the pilot, but I don't want to see cop mystery of the week. Especially considering how powerful Lucifer is, there's not much that'll be a threat to his life.

The 2nd episode. Was pretty good.
Why do you think the devil cant use his powers on the detective?
You think it something big or something small?

I have to assume it's pretty big (maybe God-like big :)).

She'll probably turn out to be an angel or some other supernatural being.
