Masks are now mandatory in my county for the next 30 days. Should have been done about two weeks ago, but better late than not at all.

Good. Stay safe, Subby. I'm looking into the US, and...it's not good.

On a similar note, in Knox County they voted 7-1 to make Masks mandatory.
This was the only opposing vote

ditto. thankfully, my dad always wears his mask to work and cleans himself off when he gets home. me and mom rarely leave the house but it's still messy here.
I feel like Yujiro's English voice should be less gravely and deeper though. Maybe it's just me.
The art is still as glorious as ever though which is the important thing. ;)
i was feeling that too but i'd take him over his old English VA. he sounded too sinister for my tastes.
also felt that ali's voice didn't quite work for him.

Oh, the irony.
Glenn, get your head straight and wear your mask.
So the kitten passed yesterday. Not going to lie, I cried on and off last night a lot. We only had it for a week and a half, but I fell in love right away. You'd think that only having it for a short time would make it easier, but it really doesn't.

Glad to hear that, masks are going to save a lot of lives.
Here in NJ we've been under a Mandatory Mask EO since March. Mostly in areas where people gather, like stores. I always have my mask with me, if I find myself around other people I mask up. Though I admit to not always wearing it outdoors when no one else is around.

Oh....I'm so sorry, that's so sad. But at least she had some love during that short time.
so this looks like the end for riboku. but..........i don't feel happy about it.

Yes. The poor thing was apparently abandoned by its mother, who I guess knew it wouldn't survive, and the thought of us not finding it and it dying hungry and alone and unloved is infinitely worse. I'm glad it was loved and seemed to be happy under our care, even if we're hurting now.

These past few chapters have been a very well done sequence.
That shot of him where he's like "I am somewhat weary now,"
Excellent work, just really showing the impact of everything he had built over the last 14 odd years being torn down by people over their cruelty, selfishness and lack of vision.
It's ignoble but it's very well written.
Poor Kaine as well. She's losing her ****.

poor girl really loves riboku and now, seeing him have such a ignoble end. i mean, if this was a while ago, i would've been laughing at riboku and his misfortune. now? he falls not because of anything shin or anyone of the xin generals did but because the people in charge are assholes.
but yeah, the last few chapters have been some of the best of the series.
That did remind me how apparently the author did want Riboku as the protagonist, like see his rise and all, but changed because his downfall....Really really sucked.

I think it's less that she loves him and something more philosophical.
She believed in him and his ideas about how the world should be and she's seeing it all been torn apart and is having to see Riboku at his lowest and most broken. It's traumatic because she's put so much into supporting him and realising his vision. He's been unstoppable and now he's suddenly stopped due to the lowest and most pathetic mid-level bureaucrats.
