So sad to see Mimic died. Must be one of the most tragic deaths of the year.
I love the art of this mini. However, cannot believe adult Jean taking orders from the kid who just murdered her child.

@Me when two of my brain cells are working and you tell me that the squad and I's five year run ends abruptly via a wack mini that's also the prettiest trash ever printed.

damn. Scott is really rocking his "we wasted five years of potential character growth for NOTHING" face
Defenders Best Defense, Old Man Hawkeye, and Life of Captain Marvel conclude this week too, and the Champions Annual is technically the end of the teen team's first volume as well.
along with Exiles. so some of those "delays" weren't actual delays
Mimic dying is dumb.
Also why is every writer having such a hard time trying to write X-23?

Ahab said DPS is an overrated story.
Mimic is one of the most sdramatic deaths indeed!

oh Scott looks YUMMY! <3_<3
Im calling it. Rachel Grey Summers is going to the past with the 05. Just saying.
She's not important to this story so it doesn't matter. She'll disappear and no one will remember her. The X-Office has already.
If they really needed a conflict that bad, they could've had the beginning be a convo between Hope and Cable. Both of them wondering what they should do when they see the timeline deteriorated at the end of Cable #159. Cable believing that they should be put in a safe house till this blows over with Hope taking the more pragmatic approach, knocking Cable out and basically assuming the same role that Wifi had in the story.
That...actually would have been MUCH better! And would’ve actually made Hope relevant again for the first time since Second Coming, while at the same time setting her up as Cable’s legacy character in a big way, by having her take the whole “the end justifies the means” approach that Cable was so known for back in the day. I actually LOVE that idea. Damn shame it didn’t play out that way.
And when X-Force busts in to stop her, as they did Kid Cable last issue, they end up freeing Nathan and they all team up to take on Ahab in issue #5. Wow. So much better this way! I’m now really pissed it didn’t go down like that. Instead we got a pointless death of an awesome character only to replace him with yet another lame teen version, just while we’re getting rid of a bunch of lame teen versions of other characters. *sigh*
God, this reads like bad fan fiction. Jean, or Jeen, or WiFi, sweeties, could you maybe TOSS THE LITERAL TODDLERS TURNING EVERYONE INTO HOUNDS AGAINST A WALL WITH YOUR TK POWERS INSTEAD OF CALMLY NARRATING THE FACTS WHILE LOOKING GORGEOUS IN LARRAZ ART?!?! Message also applies to any and all super-strong mutants present, of which there are quite a few.
I'm not sure if it's sad or funny they couldn't keep the Mimic reveal for later on and just left it in the preview. Tyke is actually awesome, though.
The character assassination of Laura Kinney continues. The joy!
Good thing this is another story rendered moot by the 300 events coming up, LOL.
It would've been nice if this had been over before Uncanny started. I actually care what's going on here lol
Someone (maybe the Young Xmen) needs to smack the French kids around.
along with Exiles. so some of those "delays" weren't actual delays
No, Exiles has one more issue after that.
Meanwhile Rachel is nowhere to be seen, again, and supposedly she goes into limbo or dies in this issue...
And why does X-23 sound so off?
