Surprise! Trump took the family to Camp David this weekend and he actually liked it!
Of course, there is still a cost involved but not like when he goes to his golf club/resorts. There's plenty of privacy and it's set up to provide protection.
What did he think it was, a Yogi Bear Campground? At least their son might have some fun there.
I'm surprised Pissy POTUS liked Camp David. I mean, there wasn't a golf course there. That couldn't have been easy on him.

There's some tees set up around a single hole but there's probably more here for his son Barron. Basketball courts, tennis court, horseback riding, and a game room. And people ride around the grounds on golf carts.

If I was President I'd stay there for every vacation and even meet World Leaders there. It looks very nice.

I would think that a place named for Eisenhower's grandson would at least have an area to practice golf. Like a driving range or putting green.

Obama met with the G8 nations there in 2012 I was just checking some older news articles and Obama got a little bit of criticism for using it only 38 times. Before that, Bush used it 150 times.

Can you imagine Cheeto Jesus shooting hoops, whacking some tennis balls or trying to climb his fat orange ass up on a horse? The laughs from that would be immeasurable.

I saw 25 year old footage of Trump playing volleyball, waddling and flailing around the court. And that was a quarter century ago... so... no.
It was two years ago we shared our original "Crazy/Stupid Republican of the Day" profile of the former two time loser in attempts to get into the U.S. Senate, World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon, whose background as a recurring character within the WWE Universe (including angles where she was cheated on, catatonic, and “turning heel” by kicking announcers with medical ailments in the groin), as well as some of the shady business practices her company has made within the industry of professional wrestling over the past few decades made her a hopeless cause in multiple elections as she burned through millions of dollars of her own family’s fortune to try and win a Senate seat. After losses in both 2012 and 2014, both Linda and her outspoken husband, Vince McMahon, but when WWE Hall of Fame member Donald Trump managed to win the White House, they called their old pal, and Linda was set up to run the Small Business Association, because he’s that insane and terrible at picking people for federal appointments. In any event, Linda McMahon is already describing how chaotic and terrible it is working in the Trump administration and how Cheeto Mussolini isn’t even staffing her department, so we’ll see how long she keeps the job.

It was one year ago today that “Crazy/Stupid Republican of the Day” presented its original profile of the sitting U.S. House Representative from North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District, David Rouzer, whose resemblance to Saturday Night Live cast member Jon Lovitz still haunts us to this day. While Rouzer lost in the 2012 elections to nine-term Congressman Mike McIntyre by only about 600 votes, in the 2014 mid-terms, he coasted to victory with 59% of the vote over Democrat Jonathon Barfield after McIntyre retired. In 2016, Rep. Rouzer won a second term with 61% of the vote. Rouzer had already established himself as a staunch conservative while he served in the North Carolina State Senate, aligning himself as a climate change denier who tried blocking studies of sea level change, showing he was downright archaic when it came to education, what with his support of corporal punishment without parental exemption in schools, and his homophobic streak was proven by both his opposition to anti-bullying measures that would protect LGBT students and his support for a state constitutional ban on same sex marriage. He hasn't mellowed out much since heading to Washington, D.C., like how he was willing to state his desire to have another government shutdown over the fact that the GOP was unable to defund Planned Parenthood, due to his viewing of the fraudulent video produced by the Center for Medical Progress (whose leaders have since been indicted for their deception). This was only two years after the last time Republicans shut the government down, and got nothing but costing millions upon million dollars for our country, and threatening government workers with being furloughed, Rouzer was ready to repeat that over a shoddy hoax.
Rouzer also get major points as a freshman lawmaker for introducing his own written legislation, but then again, when you consider his bill was to drug test welfare recipients nationally, it becomes a lot less impressive. After all, when states have passed such laws and adopted them, they have lost a fortune on the cost of drug testing, and found statistically less drug use by those on government assistance, without any "savings" of throwing people off welfare. Even worse, the states have lost money on court cases when the same Republicans supporting these bills see their legislation challenged by ACLU lawsuits, and they get overturned as being violations of the 4th Amendment. But that's David Rouzer for you... take a failed, s*** idea at the state level and try to do it across the country.
In June of 2015, Rep. Rouzer released a statement after the Supreme Court rules in the Obergefell v. Hodges case in favor of marriage equality, saying it would be against the will of our Founding Fathers, and that it created a "slippery slope of shifting sand". Perhaps this would be a good time to point out to Rouzer that George Washington was cool with awarding a house to Continental Army General Baron von Steuben and his male lover after the war, mmhm? When a guy with wooden teeth is more tolerant of gays than you are… you have problems.

Oh, and a provision in the David would make sure that Rouzer would be allowed to keep his healthcare plan as it exists under the ACA, which would be repealed for the rest of the country. He and his Republican compatriots threw themselves a beer bash to celebrate taking away healthcare from millions and then gloated about it with Donald Trump at a White House press conference, as well.[*]June 8th, 2017: David Rouzer votes for HR 10, the GOP’s attempt to repeal Dodd-David financial reform, because what the country really needs is to allow the big banks to make the same mistakes that imploded the economy only a decade earlier.
Now, while most of the House GOP are currently running and hiding from their constituents rather than host a town hall, David Rouzer did have one in his district back in March. Mind you, he mostly gave answers to questions that weren’t asked, as opposed to the ones that were. After he voted for Trumpcare, he managed to piss off a local physican after she planned a town hall for him that Rouzer bailed on. As such, Dr. Kyle Horton filed to run to challenge Rep. Rouzer as a Democrat for his seat. And, as an added bonus to her character, she worked for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, serving hour veterans honorably with their healthcare.
We’ll keep our CSGOPOTD readers posted on David Rouzer’s activities, and let everyone know when we get a conclusive DNA test that proves he is not related to Jon Lovitz.
There is no question that terrorist organizations, eager to spread their message, have seized on the potential of social media. From Twitter storms praising acts of violence to virtual coaches providing instructions and encouragement to potential recruits, social media provides endless opportunities for groups like ISIS to reach mass audiences quickly at a low cost. In fact, according to one estimate, about 90 percent of terrorist activity online happens on social media.
Does that mean social media bears some of the responsibility when these terrorists attack? Families of victims argue that it does. Since the first claim was filed last year, victims’ families have filed similar lawsuits against social media companies related to the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida; the Brussels airport bombing; the November 2015 Paris attacks;, and various Hamas assaults. Recently, relatives of the victims of the 2015 San Bernardino, California, attack filed a similar suit—and the lawsuits show no sign of stopping. But they are starting to take a new legal tack.

The claims are based on federal laws that make it a crime to provide “material support” to terrorists. Terrorist organizations don’t operate in isolation. Their actions are made possible by those who provide property, services, money, weapons, facilities, or personnel. Recognizing this, Congress enacted a set of laws criminalizing the provision of assistance to terrorists. The laws specifically prohibit providing “communications equipment” to terrorists. This is a problem for social media companies. Their platforms offer individuals and organizations the ability to network and communicate, which fits squarely into the definition of material support. It is immaterial that the platforms—like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube—are not themselves illegal. It doesn’t matter that the companies don’t support the terrorist organizations’ goals. It matters only that they help terrorists achieve their goals.
Special counsel Robert Mueller hasn't decided whether to investigate President Trump as part of the Russia probe, according to a report on Sunday.
"Now, my sources are telling me he's begun some preliminary planning," Pierre Thomas, the ABC News senior justice correspondent, said of Mueller on ABC's "This Week." "Plans to talk to some people in the administration. But he's not yet made that momentous decision to go for a full-scale investigation."
Last week, the Washington Post reported Mueller is investigating the president for obstruction of justice in light of his firing of former FBI Director James Comey, something the president's legal team is denying.
"Now Mueller faces a huge decision," Thomas said. "Does he believe the president, who says there's no wrongdoing here, or does he go after the president in the way James Comey wants him to do?"

MOSCOW — Russia on Monday condemned the American military’s downing of a Syrian warplane, suspending the use of a military hotline that Washington and Moscow have used to avoid collisions in Syrian airspace and threatening to target aircraft flown by the United States and its allies over Syria.
The moves were the most recent example of an intensifying clash of words and interests between the two powers, which support different sides in the yearslong war in Syria.
The Russian military has threatened to halt its use of the hotline in the past — notably after President Trump ordered the launch of missiles against a Syrian air base in April — only to continue and even expand its contacts with the United States military. It was not clear whether the latest suspension would be lasting.
Its announcement came in response to an American F/A-18 jet’s shooting down a Syrian government warplane south of the town of Tabqah on Sunday, after the Syrian aircraft dropped bombs near local ground forces supported by the United States. It was the first time the American military had downed a Syrian plane since the civil war began in the country in 2011.
Maybe if the publication is geared primarily to terrorism recruitment, Op-Eds on Anti-West rhetoric and so on.
Haven't seen that happen yet though. Big test for the 1st Amendment.

What I took from the stories is that Assad has really simple things he's not allowed to do (mess with US-backed coalition forces) and he does them anyway, tries to push his luck, and of course gets his hands slapped.
“The coalition’s mission is to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria,” the Pentagon’s statement said. “The coalition does not seek to fight Syrian regime, Russian, or pro-regime forces partnered with them, but will not hesitate to defend coalition or partner forces from any threat.”
