To be honest it seems like Drake is as bad as Red Robin for how easy it is to make fun of it, if not moreso.
He actually took Red Robin from Jason (Jason got the name when he, Donna, and Kyle Rayner were doing that whole multiversal travel thing. Ended up on an Earth where that Jason never came back, but that Bruce ended up killing Joker and teamed up with Jason and...
You get the idea.
So basically the very first name Tim gets all to himself is his last name xD
(Though, to be fair, Nightwing and Red Hood are technically hand-me-downs too)
"Spoiler" sound like her superpower is giving away plot twists.
This. Or she makes perishable foods go off...I mean, sure, annoying - but not exactly what most people probably want out of a superhero. :p
Batwing = Batman's plane, they even made a joke about it in the Bad Blood film
Signal = The Bat-signal
Orphan, just isn't a good superhero title
Drake = surname, and a male duck
Drake, Orphan and Signal are all fucking stupid.
Drake isn't bad, but it's nothing special, just lazy and on the nose. It's just okay. Same with Orphan. Orphan I think is a dumb name for Cass when Black Bat is preferable. I really like Spoiler so I'm not sure why that's on the list.
Signal and Batwing are so stupid to me. They just took names from items in the bat mythology and attached them to characters. It's so lazy. Honestly it's a tie for Signal and Batwing.

Ya, if I had to pick it would between those two, leaning towards Signal
Drake and Signal are the dumbest names on the planet, lol.
Drake is more than just a male duck.
In Middle English, drake means 'dragon,' following the Old English drake, which means 'dragon, sea monster, or huge serpent.' Drake likely relates to t he proto-Germanic drako as well as the Latin draco, both meaning 'dragon.' These tie back to the Ancient Greek word drakon, believed to come from drakein or derkomai, 'I can see clearly.'
The words dragon and drake separated around the thirteenth century when drake became an archaic Old English word that means dragon. Around this same time, drake indicated a male duck. Perhaps for this reason, the drake is considered to be a small dragon.

Nice try but he is named after the Duck the most dangerous bird.
Honestly I don't know why a handful are trying to BS us into thinking he's named after a dragon when the story lays it out. Stop making that argument we know better.

True, but the context provided was male duck.

Also the colors of his new costume suggest duck:

If he'd said, Drake, like a Dragon - fair enough, but that's not what he said. :p

He died his hair red too? What book is this craziness coming from?
"Spoiler" sound like her superpower is giving away plot twists.
Well, I mean, yeah.
For me, Batwing and Spoiler are some of the worst codenames you could ever give yourself.
Signal.
10char
Signal would be alright if he wasn’t wearing a giant Bat on his costume making him a living Batsignal.
Drake is easy to make fun of but actually good.
Orphan is awful. So there you go.

Jason chose Red Hood to rub it in Joker's nose. Dick took up Nightwing thanks to Clark's stories about the original.
