Meanwhile, the AL feels like a foregone conclusion.
What an amazing game for the Braves and Cardinals in game 3
Dodgers choke big time and the Nats make them pay.
Cards slammed the door on the Braves in the first inning, so NLCS is set, Nats vs. Cards.
The Fightin' Phils fired Gabe Kapler after 2 seasons. Maybe the should take notice that the Nats didn't start having success in the playoffs until after Bryce Harper left...

When the Rays most likely lose tonight, I will not care about the post season anymore.
Saw some talk about the post season being played with 'unjuiced' balls, as opposed to the regular season balls.
Be pretty awful if that's true. I wouldn't put it past Manfred, though. Baseball needs a new commissioner.
Yah the prevailing media story with the Dodgers loss is that they deviated from the metrics. Personally I don't buy it, both of those Kershaw pitches that went out were fastballs. Why did the Dodgers decide to toss a couple of big, fat ones at two of the Nationals most dangerous guys?
Going to be an interesting pitching night for the Rays in Houston. But Cole has had a full rest, so things seem likely to go the 'Stros way. .
So glad the Astros beat the Rays, mostly because I'm an Astros fan, but also because it spares MLB the horror of playing baseball in the crappiest place on Earth.

Tropicana Field? Tampa? or Florida in general? :D

It's "choose your own answer".
Nats dominated the Cardinals and are finally off the list of teams that have never been to the world series
After the Cardinals blitzed Atlanta for ten runs in the first inning of their game five win in the NLDS last week, they scored all of six runs in four games against Washington who swept out the Redbirds like so much trash. More proof that pitching helps win championships.

The list was only two teams. Now it's just the Mariners. Which means it's not even a list anymore.

A longer list would be of teams that haven't won the Fall Classic, they being (in alphabetical order): Colorado, Milwaukee, San Diego, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Texas and Washington.
Astros pull it out vs. Chapman after allowing the Yanks to tie it. World Series is set, Astros vs. Nats.
I'll take the Astros in six.

Scherzer, Strasburg and Corbin vs. Verlander, Cole and Greinke. The pitching matchups alone would be more than worth the price of admission. I’m going with Houston which has the better lineup and more experience in the Fall Classic. Astros in six.
Nats on a solid amount of rest, while Astros have exhausted their pitching staff. I dunno...
Gotta say, at the end of that game last night, all I could really see was two women beaters on the mound and it really grossed me out. Maybe that's just me, but I have a hard time looking past that ****.
Anyway. go Nats!
